Join nhi karna h.. joining krte hi maternity benefit stop ho jayega. So maternity period k basis par joining date ko extend karwane ki application deni h. Kisi bhi conditions me join nhi krna h. Joining means maternity leave stopped.

Yes with medical certificate issued by competent medical officer. And other kind of leave (due) also if required in combination after expiry of Maternity Leave.
Agar woman already job me h to apply Kar akti h. Baby hone k 3 months se pahle job lag jati h to join krne k 15 days k ander maternity leave k liye apply krna hota h.
Notional if you are on maternity leave on the date of AI and thereafter actual from the date you join duty subject to fulfilment of other T&C applicable as per rules for grant of AI

Total absence of 16 days maximum in a spell within admissible limit (10 / 15 or 20 as the case may be) of casual leave including holidays/sundays falling in between and prefixed/suffixed of casual leave. Moreover casual leave shall not be allowed to be combined with other kind of regular leave.
