Hello Fritz423. Many thanks for a most excellent and informative set of videos. You are a life saver - I have the same job to do on a 2006 100hp EFI with 400 hours on it, here in the UK and did not have a clue where to start. Could I ask: 1. Were the nylon bushings in good enough condition to re-use ? 2. Were the top and bottom rubber engine mounts ok to re-use ? would you recommend replacing them anyway, or is it not necessary (they are expensive)? 3. Was the main rust/wear in the bottom of the swivel pin, as opposed to the lower yoke? I need to order all of my parts from the US and don't want to order parts which I won't need. Best regards from the UK.
I apologize for the late response. The corrosion was almost completely at the bottom end of the swivel pin. The lower yoke was corroded but it is so thick it only requires a wire brushing and paint. The nylon bearings I reused, if they were worn I couldn't tell. Engine mounts pretty much were toast, I replaced them all.
@@evanbushong4291 It seems odd your lower yolk bolt/nut loosened, they are nylocks. I would worry something corroded severely, but anyway the video should demonstrate how to get to it. Good luck brother!
@@TheFritz423 very nice job on these videos. I learned a lot by watching them. I have not seen much content out there with this level of detail. Awesome job.....thank you for sharing all this!
