Dear Sir, at farthest end and top near to ceiling, advice the position of this projector is normal or hanging invert?. Hope you will answer this question among your busy schedule. Thanks.
Great review! We also get a white version in Australia, the difference is WiFi on the white which you don't get on the black. Also, comparing to the latest Sony 4K, the Epson is extreamly close in picture quality. The Sony is about $4000 more and the lamps are quite expensive at $700 approx. The Epson is around $150 per lamp. The other major reason we chose the Epson over other projectors is the use of 3LCD tech and not a colour wheel for RGB. You dont get the rainbow effect with this projector, fantastic value and amazing projector for the money!
Can u make a video between 9400 and epson tw7100 Im about to buy one but since both are 4k and yeah the contrast ratios are different but apart from that are there any major differences between these two
The ones that you saw in the video is on standard factory settings without any calibration. Try doing a THX tune up video calibration software which can be done using your phone and Apple TV or MHL cable
.. Im looking to upgrade for 4k projector for my HT. did have seen a demo with TW7400 , what i found is the pic quality is good with 4k demo video played... I ask to play a 4k movie Mission impossible with fast action screen and found that the image have some kind of shadow (ghosting)... And image start to look abit blur!!! When he move around with fast movements!! Does not look sharp as it should be..... So i wonder if this model TW9400 have such issue...
Both projectors use a 12-bit digital colour processing chip with frame interpolation and Epson’s own Advanced Motion Control algorithm to ensure minimal ghosting or pixelation in fast-moving action scenes. Where they differ is in terms of contrast ratio and HDR format support with the EH-TW7400 offer mainstream HDR10 and a 200,000:1 contrast ratio as well as 2,400lm colour light output.
Hi tanmay, Great review. I am going to buy one projector. I want to know it's performance during live match like football and during gaming.I am still unable to choose between tw9400,7100 and benq tk850i. Obviously price is almost 50k higher from 9400 to 7100 but please advice
Hey Shubhashis, if budget permits TW-9400 then just go for it. But just note that ideally its a dedicated cinema room projector due to bulky black product, the 2600 lumens however makes it comfortable to use in media and living rooms too!
Doesn't this model already come with the ceiling mount in the box ? The US model seems to have it, do they sell it as optional accessory when in India ? That's a cunning strategy.
Hi, does any one having some noise issues when 4K enchainment enabled. I hear hum on 24hz but it disappears when change to 60hz or disable e-shift. Anyone ?
I brought this projector 1 year ago... It is excellent projector. I am completely satisfied.. Its mrp price is 2.7 lakh. But you can easily get it at around 2.0 lakhs.
What is the cost of this projector. My personal home theater room size is 12 feet by 17 feet. Where my screen size is 11 feet wide. So this will fit into this room? distance between screen to project placement is 16 feet.
Hey Anson, Benq TK850 can best be compared with Epson 7100. Coz 9400, will win any day when compared with TK850. The closest competition for Epson 9400 in Benq is W2700
Epson TW 9300 is a discontinued model with 2500 Lumens and 1 million:1 Contrast; while the Epson TW 9400 is 2600 Lumens projector with 1.2 million:1 Contrast Ratio
Hey Shashidhar, I wish that was possible! 50000 hours is either possible with Laser Source or LED. Actually even they claim to have 30000 hours life. But one of the major drawbacks/harsh reality with these large lamp life projectors beyond 10000 hours is - The Brightness reduces after every 2 to 3000 hours. So by the time you reach 10000 and above you will feel like changing the lamp! Hope this help you!
Hi Tanmay, Good content & presentation, Keep it up ! I have setup my economical Home theater two years back with my own Research online and my AV Setup includes Epson 2100 projector, Sony HD550 receiver & Polk Audio 5.1 Setup in a bare bone 12 feet by 19 feet room, Would you entertain some queries I have regarding acoustics ? if yes, can you drop an email ID ! thanks
@@TanmayMehta Anything good dosent die. For example in this streaming world vinyl records are the strongest physical format and rightly. So. Similarly I believe 3d will definitely make a comeback and specially with Avatasr.
