Why is the screen green at some point and then it is normal at the end?

Vertical lines on LCD projectors is 99% a defective lcd block which needs replacing and there is no cure for it.

I have the exact same problem with my epson projector in mumbai. Can you guys fix it? How much would it cost?

Anyone out there know who can fix my PL Home Cinema 5010? It displays one to four Yellow VERTICAL lines; they fade out to one or two and then back with one, at times, turning a vivid Blue. Epson is no help and many locations do not want to touch Epson for some reason.
