I have a Brothers P-Touch labeler. The cut margin on the model I have is not available. So, I print a string until I reach the full mark and then hit print. I normally use double spacing between blocks but sometimes single spacing. Then I cut to fit. I just purchased a PT-e300 so I can use heat shrink tubes for my usually #16 - #10 ga wiring. I am not sure yet if I can adjust the cut margin. ???? Or resort to the old fashion way. if possible.
Hello, thanks for asking, the half-cut is a great feature! It is intended for cutting between multiple labels, but you can trigger it to cut on one label if the margin setting is set to the minimum setting. This will trigger the printer to cut a small pre-label half-cut before the printed label. Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. Thanks! labelworks.epson.com/contact-us
We know what you mean. Those wide margins result in wasted label material, which costs money. Add to that the inconvenience involved with always having scissors handy to trim those labels and the time it takes to do so.
