Epson XP-245 Wifi WPS Setup 

The manuals are so hard to understand. I wouldn't have gotten my printer to work without you. Keep up the great work!

This video actually helped me with my connection. I recently moved house, and in the process changed router. I couldn't work out on my computer or via my Epson iPhone app how to update my connection with the new router, even though I had gone through the online manual and checked the Epson site. I mean seriously, I kept searching for internet connection and it gave instructions that I didn't understand - and in all honesty were not relevant (now that I know what the solution was). I updated all of my software, etc, but in the end I just needed to re-establish my internet connection. As you can probably gather, I am not technically savvy. I preferred when I could print from my phone, without the need to use the Epson App. I have had three Epson printers, and I feel they have made it more difficult to use through the changes they have made over the years. But for now, I've got it working again, thanks to the help from this video.

Was close to tears of frustration trying to print out fight tickets and couldn't figure out how to connect printer to new Sky router - I'm old and not IT smart. So very easy after watching this - couple of minutes and its done. Thank you.

I tried a few times, didn't work at first, I reset my router and tried again, I PRESSED the WPS button on my router rather than holding it, and it worked :) this printer has been the bane of my life!

Got a box with new printer Epson WF-2010W with A CD!!! Are they for real!? First bad sign. As I thought everything else was a nightmare of experience, reminded me of my youth PC days, where you have to be an IT deparetment and everything was a mission. It took a while to connect. After reading the comments started to loose hope. Had to reset my router 100 time due to internet not being available. Had to google if there is a WPS button on my router but the video helped to get it all set up!

After seeing so many videos, you are the best & Fastest to connect wifi

Thank you. It worked for me. It took a few minutes to connect and I needed to move close to the router. Initially I had green and orange line at the same time but after I switched off the printer and on again there was green light only and scanning worked perfectly.

Horrible unintuitive printer but this video got the wifi working between printer and computer on a new network so thumbs up!

WPS = Wi-Fi Protected Setup must be allowed on your router. Some routers like mine (EE / Orange box) must have this allowed (probably for extra security): I had to log in the router go to Advanced/Wireless Settings/Wi-Fi Protected Setup/ and tick radio-button "Enable". Also the button could be less obvious than the BT example in the video (on my box it is stealthily blended as a tongue rather than a button in the top-middle-back part of the router).

Bless your hart dude. This video is the best. May I make an add to this one? On the more mondern routers the WPS reset button looks like two arrows (🔃) ... this is what stood me up. Good luck and stay patient.

I have an issue, holding down the wifi button for those 3 seconds doesnt do anything. No light comes on on the printer. Regardless of how long I hold the button down for.

For the Epson 257 you have to hold the wifi button down then after three seconds, press the button next to it

This is absolutely perfect instruction and should absolutely work, but it isn't for me. For whatever reason, the wifi connection lights work fine when you turn the printer on, but even after pushing the WPS button on the router, it just won't connect. I don't know what else to try short of wiring it, but I need to put the printer way further than a wired connection will work for.

Does this printer support AirPrint iPhone? Cause my iPhone cannot find. Says there is no device for AirPrint. For iMac I haven't installed any app. Just did as you show on the vide. But it seems like for iPhone I need install the app. Correct?

Is there a way to connect the printer to WiFi in sharing accommodation? I live in student halls so I do not have access to the WiFi router.

This didn't work for me but i used the instructions on the Epson iprint app for Wi-Fi Direct Set-up and chose the printer without lcd screen option and it worked.
