So I generally feel like typical electronic piano lacks bottom end. I even boost from 32hz to 120hz by like +10db and it still lacks bass. We primarily use a Roland RD2000 with the EQ completely flat on the keys itself and any EQ is in the house. Any thoughts/tips? Your insight is greatly appreciated.
You know, I've never had this problem with a keyboard. Almost always, there is too much low end. Maybe there is a hidden low cut filter going on somewhere in the keyboard? Or a bad cable?
You'll probably end up losing all warmth. A better option would be to use a low shelf filter in the low mids so you can control how much is cut instead of cutting it out completely with a high pass.
