For all you people who say the horses don't get enough credit. Watch the medal ceremony at the end. They get a ribbon and are there for the medal ceremony. All the riders are very thankful for their horses and what a great job they did. I'm sure they got very pampered after which is not on camera
i find really unfair that the horse is not present in the medal ceremony. i think of this sport, regardless of a team event, a TEAM they win together, they work together, they learn together and if they lose they lose also together.... they didn't win a medal alone
I agree, Gabriella. And all medaled horses should be carrying their country's flags on their backs as an honor to them. But that's for us. How to reward these incredible horses best ? Lots of praise, apples or favs, a warm shower, good rubdown, slip off the halter and plenty of time in a huge lush green pasture with their closest equine buddies , comes to mind ...
To all the people complaining the horses dont get credit: did no one saw Steve pointing at his horse after the Ceremony, being wildly proud of Nino for what he just achieved?
I wish these people wouldn’t get mad at there horse because it knocked a rail. They need to realize how high there horses are jumping and how much effort the horse puts into clearing it

Didn't you see Steve at the very end? He pointed at Nino to say that it is thanks to him. And he gave him a big hug as well. That just shows how much he and every rider care for their horses. They are part of their familiy
