2:20 I feel like us equestrians are always so mistreated. This man deserves a trophy! Amazing. We never get this treatment as we are very strong but no one understands. Horseback riding is the harshest sport I’ve ever tried. I bet, if you judged us riders, then rode, you would think differently. Thank you for this support!
When me and my class had our ‘riding exam’ to get some sort of license, they told us to be polite to the people around us. Smile at them and greet them. For some reason they often think we’re all arrogant high class bastards, that treat those below us like shit. We have our stereotypes sadly enough
@@Lilian040210 if the tack is not right it can hurt the horse/ put to much weight on the horse back and hurt the horse, and riding to look cool is not why you should ride.
Once, i was on my horse Bundi and we were riding through a field that had wild cows in it and we were cantering and then Bundi slipped on uneven ground and fell over on his side with me still on. He sprained my ankle and somehow completely split the sole of my riding boot from my actual shoe. All the while the cows were just staring at me.
Lol this reminds me of when I was 7 and the horse I was riding the lesson horse who was very, very, hungry so he decided to walk into his stall while I was on him. But the roof was low so I had to duck real low.
6:40 that wasn't as bad as usual, I have to do that sometimes cause sometimes trying to feel your foot into the position isn't enough. I was more expecting uneven stirrups
1:55 Finally someone who understands! Us equestrians are always told "oh, the horse does all the work" "you just sit there!" "I could do that anytime." ITS NOT THAT EASY! its a very difficult sport. he deserves an award for this!
Actually horses never make people look bad it’s you people that don’t know how to ride and you might be yes girl don’t know what she’s talking about oh honey I’ve been in the worlds jumping barrels I’ve been doing everything
2:56 Being an Irish equestrian watching American/Canadian Equestrians confuse me :) Especially the 'Jumpers and hunters' and 'Liverpool' just makes me laugh 😂 And in 4:54 I REMEMBER BEING THERE IN PARIS LIKE 1 OR TWO WEEKS AGO LOL
@@furriesareweird That’s really rude!! I thought de western to, and it doesn’t bother me!! Cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get the freak over it!
2:25 my legs hurt fr right when I get off. And getting thrown off literally feels like your being stabbed in the butt or back whatever you land on, mostly if you fall off a tall horse like mine
@@f1veerle16 yes! I’m a board facility manager and she used to board at my barn and now she’s teaching her 4 year old to ride and her kid is actually VERY good!
If you mean the no stirrup rides, so basically when you ride without stirrups it hurts your legs and is harder to trot but if you mean the annoying equestrian thing then its because her foot isnt in the centre of the stirrup xx
