Glad to see you have not thrown out the nox. You definitely have it dialed in. During the summer months when I get to hunt 4-5 days a week I can tell what is under the coil 90% of the time. I still dig everything in the water though. Been pleasantly surprised too many times to pass up a target

Use 5 tones. Sensitivity 18/20 just be sure it’s quite. Ground balance 0 recovery 6 Go to volume and turn up iron volume to 25 Beach 2 on wet or in the water Beach 1 in dry
I've got the Equinox 600 and usually go on farmland but I've done two beach trips with it in April and it's an absolute beast. Once you get to know the signal of pull taps and vottle caps you can basically sip through the most trashy areas and find what you're looking for. Did about $18.50 in my country's currency in two trips plus some old outdated coins which is actually the best finds imo
I second that^. Pull tabs to soda tabs to nickels all ring up like different size and type of gold. Best thing you could ever do for yourself is get all your jewelry together and test it side by side with junk. Same numbers. Maaaybe in perfect in your hands condition different sounds but not likely. At the beach you dig it all. In the parks you dig it all. Looking for coins and silver only? Ok. But if you ever want to find more than 1/10 pieces of gold you actually get a hit on but pass up. You dig it all.
New sub here. I have the equinox 800 and I'm very new to metal detecting. I usually hunt the beaches here in California. I was wondering if the standard coil is best or might a smaller coil be better specifically for beach hunts. Ty for all the great info in this vid I'm most definitely gonna give it a try.

Hi, Thank you for the video it's very helpful. Could you tell me the make & model of your sand scoop please. I notice it has a carbon handle is that standard or additional to the scoop? Also what is the length of the shaft as it looks to be a out 5ft?. I'm UK based so might not be able to obtain the scoop and shaft here in the UK.
Xtremescoops.com I use the X3 stainless fior the water and the X3 titanium for everything else. I use the long 54” carbon handle in the water for deeper exploration. I still haven’t broken a carbon shaft so I would recommend one. Call John at (281)330-7758 he may ship internationally for a fee?
how do you skip bottle caps? i went out first time ever last week in fort lauderdale with nox 800... 22 targets in less than an hour, 16 were beer bottle caps
What do you mean cancel?? If you run all metal and center the sound. Then as you waggle pull back off the target. It should make an iron buzz at the end. Hope this helps. 💪😎🙏❤️
I occasionally will use my Equinox my wife uses it every time she has her own I like to switch it up too sometimes I'll take the CTX out sometimes I'll take the 800 out sometimes but recently it's been the DeusII I've gotten used to wearing my Omega Mill bag just for the same reason like you said all the garbage and people being pigs I clean it up and take it up to the trash can frequently they don't realize a lot of those plastics and stuff like that kill birds and sea turtles 👍🦀
My family uas a rule when we go camping or to the beach. "Leave it cleaner than you found it." Before we leave, we clean up all the trash in the area we use.
I forgot, do you have a legend yet? I’m really pulling for it to kick Minelab’s butt. I love Minelab Technology but their build quality is awful. The internet should have trashed Minelab for their crappy coil ears they won’t fix, equinox leaks like a siv, etc. The legend is robust and priced better, just hope they iron out everything soon, and the bomb would be an 8-9” coil. Good depth, lighter weight, easier to plow through the wash. Any thoughts?
Inside it will do that. At some parks or outside at your house it still may have bad EMI. Turn sensitivity down to 12. If it still churns factory reset. If that still doesn’t work reinstalling the latest version download might work. The repair center is really good at responding within 24hrs you can call them there and ask.
Any advice or recommendations regarding "After Market Shafts" for the Deus II? I know the stock shaft doesn't seem to have the strength to handle the waves.
Sounds like the nokta makro lower shaft is longer and fits? I actually slid more of the lower up into the upper today and it was better. I do like a shaft that I have seen but I’m tired of promoting them with no response.
i started snorkelling the shores to about half metre or less with the nox fully submerged , found loads of gold rings and silver in the last few days , 1 18 k one this morning, going again tomo morning, love the nox!!!!
Unfortunately some people are filthy. My beach is the same way trash. Maybe instead of being a metal finder we should be called to beach cleaners and for all the garbage we remove in that county city or state should Be paid to that person. The more dangerous the item the higher the pay out.
