+Alexander Suarez Mendez THANK YOU, I SING THAT SONG OFTEN, YOU BROUGHT BACK MUCH FOR ME, JUST BY SAYING THOSE GAELGE WORDS, I"M NEARLY IN TEARS, DYING ON THE WEST COAST OF AMERICA, a Black Irish I am, by descent, heavy, heavy, weights, to carry, an old blood, covered iin wisdom, Capercaillie, I am, shall ever be, a bird, flying
It always baffles me as to why our ancient sites aren't as amazing as in places like England or Carnac in France, or the various sites in central and south America such as Teotihuacan or Sacsayhuaman, or Puma Punku... As far as i know we had our own Stonehenge which was located in Louth or Down and it was demolished by some brainboxes in the 17th century...This site is still beautiful no doubt about that, but it always makes me wonder why our sites aren't on par with some of the other places around the world. If you're familiar with any megalithic history you'll know it as a fact, our stones were small whereas other places like Carnac they have alignments of stones weighing 150 to 350 tonnes. And the pre ice age cultures of South America with their precision cutting of very hard stones as if they were using machines, and you couldn't fit a sheet of paper between them with the quarries hundreds of miles away and some of these sites are up on mountains.
