I consider him as better Investor than Damani and Jhunjhunwala. These star investors just find opportunities to enter a stock. And nobody questions them if their bets ho wrong. While this guy has to regularly find good opportunities and if he goes wrong he faces criticism anf repercussions of his action.

He is a fund manager getting huge salary with other people's money and has done poorly for so many years now so obviously people will question him and even if fund makes loss he will take salary..........Damani,RJ are investor/traders who have own money at stake and if they make mistake they will make loss.

@@krishna128 Just look at Jhunjunwala or Damani's portfolio most of their stocks aren't doing well. Jhunjhunwala only has Titan and Damani only had Dmart as their profitable Stocks. Even Basant Maheshwari's PMS is doing good because their holdings in Bajaj Finance. And these Investors can easily time the market, while Jain has to invest irrespective of the levels in the market due to SIP compulsion. And if you check his Balanced advantage fund he is holding some very quality Stocks. When Market and economy improves those Stocks will perform really well.

This guy is lying left, right and center. With Mutual funds he is managing, all You manage is to pay them the expense ratio fees. Either invest in index funds or Fixed Deposits rather then making Prashant Jain and HDFC richer and richer.
