Homework: As clearly we can see Va is equal to Vb (Va=Vb=V) so there is no potential difference and as there is no potential difference, current will not flow, but If we are concerned to find the equivalent resistance then all the resistors will be in parallel and answer will be 5 ohm
@@nirmala.3199 Not it can't be 5 it has to be zero because as you first calculate parallel combination of central junction of resistors it will be 5 ohms but there is still a wire of zero ohm(wires are ideally considered to have no resistance) which is in parallel with 5 ohm equivalent and then when we calaculate 5 ohm parallel to zero ohm answer will be zero ohm.
But the thing is a point wire directly connects to the b point wire making it a short circuit. So the electricity will pass directly a to b without the resistances.
The answer for homework question is 0ohm as the circuit is short-circuited with wires in the farther most loop. I have verified it using mutlisim software also.
