„Alle Menschen haben es in der Hand, den Lauf der Welt zu ändern.“
Mit dieser motivierenden, aber auch herausfordernden Botschaft will die weltbekannte indische Physikerin und Aktivistin Dr. Vandana Shiva zum zivilen Ungehorsam anstiften: Ungehorsam gegen die Ausbeutung von Mensch und Natur durch multinationale Konzerne, Ungehorsam gegen die Feinde der Demokratie, Ungehorsam gegen den globalen Kapitalismus, der einem Großteil der Welt wie ein unumstößliches Gesetz erscheint.Seit Jahrzehnten setzt sich die Trägerin des alternativen Nobelpreises im gewaltfreien Widerstand für Ernährungssouveränität und nachhaltige Landwirtschaft ein. Shiva ist damit zur Ikone der Antiglobalisierungsbewegung geworden. „Statt der Natur einen Geldwert zuzuweisen, sollten wir für sie kämpfen“, schreibt sie in ihrem neuen Buch „Eine andere Welt ist möglich“ und trifft damit den Nerv der Fridays-for-Future-Generation, die ebenfalls gewaltfrei für ihre Zukunft und die des Planeten auf die Straße geht.

As stated in her Phd thesis, her take on quantum theory and the spiritual world it is about non separation, about the unity of life, the non separation of life on earth (and in the universe). All is connected , all life is in connection also with the spiritual world. It is a superficial take if you see it only on the political level as a speech for a Friday for future movement. Vandanda Shivas thinking and her mission goes much further. The FFF movement is still set and working on the "mechanistic thought, based on the assumption that we are separate from each other, separate from the nature." Though with the assumpt of the best intentions, the FFF movement is in danger to fall in the same trap of dividing each other instead of uniting us, hence fueling the machinery of the mechanistic world. Her topic is not about religious wars. Anyhow that was also started in India through Islam and west countries . Someone expert on religion will address that as well. How badly western exploited India, there is no word that can explain. Even Islam did not harm that much
