We watched John Carter grow up during the time he was on ER. His time in Africa taught him to rely on his common sense rather on the technology offered in the modern hospitals in the U.S. 🦋🦋
I miss all the original cast working together. I was gutted when they all started leaving. Was great that Susan came back but missed her with Doug and Carol.
His hearing-impaired son's therapist played in "Star Trek:NG". She played Miles O'Brien's wife, Keiko. Rosalind is no more Japanese that Linda Park-Hoshi Sato in "Enterprise". The former is Chinese and the latter is S. K. Korean.
@@virginiaconnor8350 I don't think the question was ever brought up did anyone say they were Japanese. These actresses have some Asian in them. I doubt if TPTB give it much thought
I watch ER daily on POP! I love it, and don't care that they're 'repeats'. I always catch something I've missed! Great cast! The interaction is amazing among the cast! I even love the bloopers! Long live ER!!!
It was a good show. Used to like "Medical Centre" and "Marcus Welby, MD". Didn't get into too many medical dramas (unless you count "Emergency" as part of one) and not into "Chicago Hope". Some were no more than glorified soap operas. Some, even "ER" and "Grey's Anatomy" became a bit boring at times. I guess I like the forensic stories-likr "NCIS" better.
Watched this when it first aired and just finished the entire series again, still holds up very well. John Carter and Mark Green were my favourite, then later on Abby, Luca, Neela were great characters and Archie Morris really grew on me. Even Romano used to make me laugh. Brilliant show.
I miss all of them- mostly people from the first seasons. Abby and Luka were amazing too. It was such an amazing tv show- way ahead its time and a long time before Netflix.
Alex Kingston as Elizabeth Corday is one of my favourite characters. Julianna Margulies and Gloria Reuben are great too Watching ER on repeat runs on CBS Drama.
Better than that. Look who they say Directed once upon a time in Hollywood...funny thing is,, , they do videos based on American culture, but dont have the facts. And never correct themselves...
Barbara Tibbets ditto here. Just binge watched the entire series. Remember most episodes as of it was only yesterday. Just never quite gelled with the last few series where the characters were constantly changing and seemed just too extreme. Not enough growth and development of them. Just completely dysfunctional. Heaven help their patients. 😆👨⚕️🩺🩹💉🤕😷
SandyL there’s some fantastic compilation videos on RU-vid for some ER characters. Lean on Me with Carter/Benton is fabulous. Along with Africa for Carter/Kovac To name just two. The later characters just don’t feature in any of them.
A follow up with more of the other central cast is needed here. Be nice to hear about Maria Bello, Gordon Visjnic, Ming-na (yes, I know she went to Disney), and all the rest.
Romans 8:11 Standing up to those who make & enforce their pay scale. Pointing the inequality to help those who aren’t in the so called spotlight. It seemed to be the point of her interview. In the end, you probably right. Just another Hollywood narcissist who is in it for the money, I have no idea of her morals, religious beliefs or if she has a giving heart.
They don’t make shows Like this anymore. I miss this show. Rocket Romano, Susan Lewis , Luka. Dr Greene , Abby. And of course carter. ❤️❤️❤️♥️and sooo many more.
I loved ER!! Anthony Edwards and Noah Wyle 👍👍 After season 9 though it just started going downhill to me. Dr. Carter and the whole Africa Safari just didn't do it for me 👎
@@SuperDobieGirl oh I feel ya. I can't stand Thandie Newton in any show or movie I've seen her in. She thinks she's all hot and sexy when really she's just straight-up nasty😝
Kram Proff I do agree. No depth to her acting/character. Just a woe is me attitude. Kem could have brought so much to ER but instead just dragged Carter in a downward spiral.
@@sjm2726 agreed. I think Carter and Abby should have stayed together got married and had a baby. I loved them two together. That's just my opinion and plus I loved Maura Tierney character just as much as I loved Noah Wyle's.
Me either! That's when they lost me. I'll never understand why they went off on that tangent. I love the show, but after Mark dies and Carter goes to Africa, it just couldn't hold my interest, anymore. My husband and I are rewatching the series and we're up to season 8. I'll see if I can make it through this time. Personally I think the show stayed on a lot longer then it should have.
Really? LA Salle directs the TV show Once Upon a Time and you show a clip from the Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? And could you possibly learn the correct pronunciations of names?
Dr Green will always be my favorite and that was a heartbreaker to overcome,, but the end to Dr Greg Pratt and Abby Lockhart back to back was a heartbreaker as well. As they say all good things must come to an end.
I was young when ER first started so I only watched some of the later seasons. Now I'm watching really old episodes. I appreciate that this video didn't have spoilers or give away what happened to these characters. Archie Morris was my fav! He was so goofy. I like the diversity on this show. Its a show I could watch anytime. I never got into Grey's, The Good Dr or New Amsterdam. I do enjoy the show called The Resident. Its very different from ER but I love it.
I really enjoyed that show, there was a nurse with hiv that was fantastic also, it was really good and I always made a point in my thoughts about some episodes...
@@sharonwhite2364 I'm from Australia. Sometimes RU-vid can lead you up the garden path. I didn't do any research on this matter. Thank you for your comments
I miss the entire cast. Everyone was so perfect in their characters. I have been watching all the episodes on Hulu. Of course, George Clooney, as Dr. Doug Ross was always my favorite. He has to be the most handsome specimen ever. Julianna Margulies was wonderful as Nurse Carol. Such a great show.
I pretty much checked out after Dr. Greene died, but I watched it a few more seasons. Once it was getting towards the later seasons I stopped watching because I didn’t like any of the new people. But I’m watching it daily on POP now. I’m so excited to watch it again!
I cried like a baby when Mark died. I had to remind myself that just his character died, not Anthony. I wasn’t really interested in watching after that. I do have seasons 1-4 on dvd but I won’t buy episodes past season 8.
I watched this show with Mom when it came out. I was 2. In third grade, we had to write our hero’s name on a board on the wall. Dr. Greene. When he died, I stopped watching. 12 year old kid got her heart broken. 😂 I’ve since watched the rest of the episodes and own the series on DVD. I just skip the beach episode now... I still can’t take it.
I have to admit I was most disappointed with the Susan Lewis's story arc. She was one of the few characters with minimal baggage, but she winds up alone. I think Carter always found her beautiful; in the last episode he comments how good she looks. She deserved a better ending. Carter and Abby broke my heart. Kem was not a strong woman, Abby somehow managed to overcome her demons.
I love each and everyone of you guys I have no favorites ❤️ ER was the best show that I have ever watch I miss use all so happy you all are doing well 🙂❤️
Why are you pronouncing everything so weirdly? “Er-reek” La Salle? “Muh-dam” Secretary? Noah “While”? Laura “Ines” with a long i? Have you ever heard anyone say these names and words like this before or did you just decide to go your own way regardless of any kind of existing pronunciation precedent? And yeah, way to completely omit Sherry Stringfield.
@@aniisky And yet not at all how it's pronounced in America, so...what would be your point here? This is not a French show, nor a French account that has made and posted the video, nor about a French actor who has requested his name be pronounced this way. So, I said what I said.
