You just said AIDS was caused by the HIV virus.. but how is that possible if you can be diagnosed with AIDS without ever having an HIV test? Even the doctor that gave the name AIDS says that HIV does not cause aids. He said the number one cause of AIDS is malnutrition and the number two causes drug use and that's why Africa has such a high number of AIDS cases. Because of the malnourishment. He said the gay community has such a high number of AIDS cases because of the drug use. They use things called poppers a meal nitrate. Which have had so many peer-reviewed papers associated with their use and kaposi sarcoma aka the AIDS cancer. So how can you say that aids is caused by a virus when the most number of AIDS cases in the world they've never had an HIV test

That's just the genius writing of the South Park staff at play here. It's that even more impressive when you realise that each episodes are done in 4-6 days depending on if they have good ideas day 1 or 2.

Not entirely true, the earlier episodes too quite a bit longer, particularly season 2 as they had used all their jokes for season 1. Apparently the 6 day format eventually started as they got better and realised how quickly they could make them

They could do it in 4 and have done it before, for example the Woodland Critter Christmas episode only took 4 days because they had no idea what to do.

I've come to enjoy the Ritalin episode more than when I used to. A little while ago, I met a kid with Asperger's, and apparently when they were figuring out his condition, they were very quick to conclude that he had ADHD. I'm no doctor, but I remember being proud of myself for knowing exactly what was up with him just by talking to him. XD

Hey, Autistic person here, previously known as Asperger's, Autism has a very similar appearance to ADHD, and in many cases Autism is also prescribed with ADHD, so in that case, it's expected the parents got the confusion, Autism can also be mistook with PTSD if Depression is combined with Autism, like in my case, (my school counselor said I had PTSD) so with that said, you can expect those mistakes by most parents.

The detective keeps calling Randy a Karen because now, Karen is a term for an adult who think they’re entitled, has temper tantrum when things don’t go their way, demand a manager, complain over something so minor that no regular person would worry about, and causes a scene for negative attention

I was diagnosed with ADHD and that was roughly my dads reaction growing up. I had meds but he took them saying i didnt need them. Was shocked when i started failing in school, even physically "disciplining" me when i literally had a single D in my report card. Everything else was C or above but god forbid i have a single D. He told me he was suprised i graduated and was the only time he said he was proud of me. And he wonders why i dont want to be around him

How was me getting meds i needed to focus and succeed taken from me bc my father believed i didnt need them only to be punished for failing BECAUSE i didnt have the support i needed, me being a bad kid? Nothing i did was enough for him. He literally terrified me bc hed spank me over nothing or very stupid things like ONE D on my report card. Hed yell at me (sometimes when he was drunk) if i did something he deemed wrong. I wont lie and say i was a perfect kid. I relate my dad let me take adhd meds but they never really worked for me so he resorted to physical discipline. welp i still have adhd and now i also have gained extreme anxiety, paranoia, a phobia of the word spanking, a phobia that everyone will hurt me if i do anything wrong, and a terrible fear-filled relationship with my father. Turns out i did have adhd but the adhd wasn't causing the focus issues it was actually the bipolar which they didn't diagnose me with cause i was a kid. Am now taking mood stabilizers and doing much better :3 Also don't worry about that other commenter i didn't get to see what they said but you don't need to listen to them. Your not a bad person for having mental health issues people are just judgemental and like to stigmatize mental health.

@@druzilla9187 aha yeah i didnt even know they deleted it til now so thank you for your comment. I dont really care what a stranger from the internet thinks. I know what posting comments can open me up to so its ok. I dont really remember much from when i was medicated bc i was kinda young and felt kinda like a zombie most of the tume but i did good in school at least. I learned how to cope with it. Part of my problem was i also needed glasses which i had sometimes and more guidance bc once i left public school and started an alternative graduating program with much smaller classes and teachers that actually cared, i graduated with almost straight A's for the first time in my entire schooling history. And i graduated a few months earlier than i wouldve in public school. It was a surreal experience. Only time i recall my dad saying he's proud was proud. And that was just bc he didnt really seem to expect me to graduate so 🤷

Clyde lied about having AIDS in this one, because he was too embarrassed to admit he had lice, but there actually is an episode where Cartman gets infected with HIV on accident after a tonsil surgery (doctors mistakenly gave him contaminated blood for a transfusion) and he also goes ahead and infects Kyle with it as well after Kyle laughs about it

Okay so the Karen gag they had going with randy started when the tokens family opened up a weed farm across from Randy's. With how he was acting the people started calling him a Karen and throught the episodes he keeps going down the road growing more like a Karen even gaining "Karen powers". Also randy only becomes Karen when he's high off his weed so the Karen is kinda like a second personality. Also question about those breast implants is the liquid inside of em safe to drink? Cause that's how south park stopped the drought.

The saline used in the implants wouldn't immedietly be bad for you but if it was the only water you were drinking it would be very bad for health due to the high salt content, typically 9g of salt per 1 liter.

On the lice subject..... So, I had a friend of mine have lice (I wear my hair up all the time, to be clear), and this was right around the time I started using a different shampoo/conditioner brand than usual. A few days later, my head was so itchy that I was scratching my head with my mechanical pencils, until I had my mom look through my hair because I'd had enough of my itchy head. When my mom was finished combing through my hair, she said, "I didn't find anything, so I don't think you have lice. Did you change any of your hair products recently?" I told her that I did, and so she just simply said, "Throw it out, and then go back to using your usual brand." About a week later, my head wasn't itchy, and good thing, too, because it was my birthday....

I was finally diagnosed with ADHD as an adult (the 90s and even now have long way to go in recognizing ADHD in women), but you know you always have that little doubt in your head. Like, I was sure I had it, and the doctor agreed, but what if I'm wrong? But Ritalin makes me want to nap, so I think that's a pretty good indicator.

We've made great strides in HIV treatment. Things were very different 40 years ago. I remember one of the neighbors on a floor becoming very sick almost overnight and passing away from it. And I knew a child who got it. He was a hemophiliac who got it from treatment or a transfusion and passed away when he was 13 or 14 after getting the flu and pneumonia.

If we get many more of these slips, your stuff is gonna start to go missing." What so you know? All the stuff happening outside the window suddenly became way less fascinating! This way after they tried three separate medications that made me angry, angrier, and depressed to the point of contemplating self-harm which had the old man threatening to murder a pediatrician if he tried to push another pill on me.

Ritalin is not worth it. I had to take it during the 3rd grade, and it took a toll on me. The side effects: 1. When the medication wears off at night, it's hard for me to fall asleep. 2. When I'm eating dinner, I get full after three or four bites, and I'm not even halfway done with the plate. Good thing my mom took me off that medication once I hit the 4th grade.

You remind me of that military veteran, who has to speak every 30sec, in his reaction videos, something that shows how knowledgeable he is from his military career, turning a 8min video, he reacts on, into a 25min video. The only times his videos are somewhat interest is when he cannot do anything but mutely watch the video, since everything he could say has been said in the 15min prior to that point, making him look dumb if he repeats himself but doesn't address that he's repeating himself, in which case, he already repeated himself in the first 5min, twice.

i took ritalin back in the day, but after a year stopped but learned to be semi-controlled AHDH lol, mostly got hooked on reading and matrial art pratice to help focus. althought still a bit easy distracted at times, i love using postit notes to try to keep a todo list to keep focused.

I was on adhd meds, and the best thing I ever did was stop taking them they just give you depression and dull you. Everyone who i have spoken to who has been on them says the same thing. What is wrong with kids wanting to run around and have fun instead of sitting still and being quiet it's not a medical condition they are energetic, and school is boring

1:50 in my day this is the most effective way and it worked most of the time. There were kids who were really trying to focus and do their studies. These are the kids that need the medicine. Today they give kids this drug for every kid. Regardless of the kids and motives for not a paying attention.

I have ADHD myself and I used to take Adderall for it but I kept passing out from it. Turns out that I have POTS which apparently has a strong connection with Adderall.

I use to take Adderall, but it only gave me nightmares, I have Autism, so the only medication I take is Cannabis
