@@rjddurhamnc Gloria was in the Lincoln movie mostly in scenes with Sally Field, she was quite good in that. Probably her most significant role post ER.
I love their friendship so much. That's what friendship is supposed to be. It's a shame that they had a brief falling out when Kerry had to fire Jeanie so budgetary reasons. Jeanie was easy target. But they did make up. Kerry also risked her career. Kerry figured it out what Jeanie meant. It was indirect but she knew it.
Jeanie didn't tell Kerry she simply figured it out. I think that Kerry was showing a lot more heart later on after season 2. Where she was a pain. Yes she is abrasive. Watching this for the first time I was surprised that Kerry helped Jeanie. I thought that she will fire Jeanie.
Yes, for budgetary reasons. 2 physician assistants needed to be let go, and it was based on seniority. Kerry felt bad, and she offered to help Jeanie find another position. Jeanie was wrong to make it about her HIV status. Kerry was the one who supported her with that, so why would she fire her over it? Fortunately, they did make up later that season and remained friends until Jeanie's exit in the beginning of Season 6. But they certainly deserved more scenes together.
@@MsQuartermaine iI agree. They did deserve more scenes. But I thought that Jeanie will be fired for being HIV. Then and there. So this interaction in the video above surprised me. Thats what Im referring to and not budgetary. But if you mention that yes Jeanie was wrong in her assumption and I am sure that it hurt Kerry. Being fired obviously hurt Jeanie. Kerry knows what its like to be at a disadvantage.
It's hard to have AIDS but I'm glad she was happy at the end got married adopted a baby ..made nice with whom gave it to her...that's hard also... exception..
