It's pretty interesting how no matter what au, the diamonds switching as leaders each fits perfectly. White makes everyone not feel and fit like a puzzle, blue makes everyone depressed and work harder so they don't make the same mistakes, pink makes everyone happy, making everyone think everything is ok, and yellow makes everyone disciplined, making them turn into an army focused society

White put a majority of her empathy and emotions into pink when making her after the meteorite fell on homeworld. This is why she's so empathetic about others, even before earth as seen in the homeworld arc, she even kept worm like creatures after their planet was destroyed.

Aw, Pink Diamond's design gives me nostalgia. People used to think she would look all regal like that, WAY back in the day. XD But the new White Diamond has to be my favorite design here! She's so CLASSY!! But the Blue Pearl is straight up nightmare fuel. I love them all. ;w;

Not the smoothest animation I’ve ever seen but I can definitely classify it as hard work and amazing. Honestly, when Steven first faced off with white diamond, if it was blue instead and the first thing Steven did was tear up like that, all unprompted and shit....that would have given me straight up chills.
