The Emergency Response Centre Agency was established as a government agency 20 years ago. Today, there are six emergency centres in Finland working seamlessly together. Emergency calls are handled on an equal basis throughout Finland. The Emergency Response Centre Agency is the first link in the chain of assistance. Cooperation within an extensive network is key.
