The latest word from Vango is now to inflate to 3psi, guide the beams into position and then to add no more than 2 further pumps. We have a 600 and did just that when we took it to Suffolk for 5 days and it was fine. we had quite a bit of rain, some of it very heavy but not a drop leaked into tent.

I'm looking to start camping and need some advice on what to buy first, I was thinking of second hand with furniture etc included, these Vangos look pretty good to me.

Great - so looks like the actual time is at least 20 minutes all in.

Not a realistic tent erection. The tent should be still in its bag not nicely layed out and pegged! Also the inner tent was not put in. I think the inflatable tent would probably be slightly quicker to erect but not very steady in strong winds. So for the extra expense I would give them a miss.

I got a vango peace teepee 300 for £40 the other day. It's quite goon and it is light. Not for hikes though.

I have this tent and am happy with it. I don’t remember setting it up this quickly, but after the 1st time it becomes easier and, therefore, faster. It’s quite spacey and I turned the double room into one which was great.
