The rig we use in this vid is from Phoenix Racing (Phoenix Sim). The average sim racer of course can't make wheel adjustments so quickly, but the overall points on ergonomics are still relevant no matter your setup at home :)
I’m having left knee pain when using my asetek brake. I usually rest my heel on the heel plate when braking which I noticed causes the pain ,but when I watched this video your heel is in the air. Is that how we’re supposed to be using this brake pedal? I did notice when I brake with my whole foot raised in the air it hurts a lot less. Which is the correct way?
Great video!!! Do You consider releasing a separate brake pedal any time soon? So we can place them as You said. A lot of people do not use the clutch pedal in sim racing, since we got a dual-clutch system on the steering wheels))
Thank you! 🙏 The clutch is a separate add-on on our Invicta pedals, so you can just keep the base throttle and brake combo if you prefer the system on your steering wheel :)
hi!.. i have some trouble with my pedal distance.. the front of my ankle itches a bit and my calf is itching also.. only hurts a little bit if i drive longer periods of time.. do u guys know what to do?
Hi. If you often experience pain when sim racing, you should consider consulting a doctor or physician. Don't take risks with your health :) Now we have mentioned that you could adjust the distance to see if you get more comfort over time in a different setup. The pedal hardness and pedal plates could also be possible adjustments. Of course that depends on what leg (throttle or brake), you're having these issues with.
Sorry not one correct info … seat wrong angel, arms 45 degrees > no, height on the shoulder but in the video much lower, GT vs. F1 … and and and … nothing makes sense
As far as I'm aware recommended elbow angle is 90 degrees. He said 45 - 50...that's a half...having elbow at 90 degrees alows to transfer power from your shoulders to the wheel in most efficient way.all muscles in most efficient way. At 45 degrees you will be straining all muscle groups because you won't have the "purchase" to push the wheel. The straighter the hand, the less bicep engagement you will get and therefore shoulders and wrists will be doing majoirty of work with tricep sprinkled on top
