Newcastle concert May 9th 2024 Playlist from Newcastle concert 2024: • Eric Clapton - Tears i... This is not a full concert, although 3/4 of it I managed to record, with the other couple of songs I was just clapping my hands.
@@mikem2146 uh oh. with all the distortion and overdriving, I thought he was saying "propane." If you want to get down / you store it underground / propane. Need to go straighten something out
This guy spiraled into being a political crank with nonsense views and ugly prejudices. I can’t hear him through the fog of foolishness. It’s a shame about Eric, isn’t it? 🤷🏼🤔
Personally, I extremely respect him for what he's achieved as musician and resonate with some of his points of view here and there. Do I agree with everything? Nope. Do I have to? Nope. Does anyone have to? Don't think so. Imho, life goes on whether we agree with someone or not :) All the best :)
@@mikem2146 Well said, thoughtful and sincere. I listened to Eric for decades, beginning with John Mayall. One need not embrace an artist’s worldview to find value in their product, but one needn’t accept a troubled person as anything other than a deeply troubled person, either. Keep listening, take good care. ✌️
You do know that Eric took the shot & his hand was paralyzed for a couple weeks, then he made a song about it & being coerced into it by the govt. Is that what you'd call an " ugly prejudice"?
@@patricelecoz6341 Clapton has displayed physical problems for years and years prior to “the jab”. Clapton used needles to inject narcotics into his veins for decades. He drank like a fish. Read up on it, skippy. Eric is no doctor, he is no medical professional. So his damn hands hurt. He has arthritis (look it up, bud). My issues with Clapton relate to his racial intolerance. He made millions playing blues and then disses the community that created it and paved his way to fame. But hey, fanboy, don’t let facts get in the way of your idol worship. Must be fun, huh? 🤔
