I lost my baby at 24 weeks 3 days ago. I'm 15 years old and I just lost my dad on September 8th it's been almost 2 weeks. He was a semi truck driver and he was a hard worker. He died while working. I am nearly seventy years old. My dogs were my life. But dogs only live around fifteen years old. They were all close in age. We hiked every day for a decade and a half. In the last ten months, five of my six dogs have grown old and died. In my mind, I knew they would not live much longer. I have no children or wife and few friends.When they passed away I was in shock. I could feel the grief surface every so often but today while hiking with my remaining dog, this song came to my mind so I played it on RU-vid. I had a cat in my home for 8 years. All it knew was my apartment and the balcony next to a highway. I felt so bad and guilty because he was missing out on life. The same living room, kitchen, floor, bathroom for many many years. 1 day I convinced my sister to take care of him. She has a big house with a big garden, a nice yard and other cats from the neighbors were playing around. He lived there for another 6 years and died with many friends of his kind :) . Im so happy he had a decent life for the 2nd half of his life. I would be full of regret if he didn't had more than just my 4 walls. I'm sure all the dogs you had were happy, well fed and showered in love. Take care old man. In my religion your dogs souls will witness for ur care and love in front of God and u will be rewarded for the life you gave them

I can't imagine losing a child. My dog also died about a month ago. I still cry, but it is getting better. I have lost pets before and it always tears me up, but I get over it. I don't think that happens when you lose a child. They are not supposed to die before you do.

One of the most touching funerals that I ever attended was a very close friends loss of his son at 5 years old. They played this song in church and there was not a dry eye in the church. I just lost my dad yesterday. This was one of his favorite songs. I lost my little brother when I was 17 and he was 16, and my dad grieved that a lot. Towards the end of his life when he was sick and thought he could recover still he expressed grief over my brother 8 years later. I think it’ll be good they’re both out of pain and together again. And now I can honour them both. I struggle with mental illness and suicidal thoughts a lot and my dad always worried about me. I can honour my dad bc I don’t belong in heaven rn. Musically, this is as close as we may can get in this life! My grandfather is almost completely deaf from working in a power plant before ear plugs and OSHA were relevant. I know it bothers him at times, whether it be struggling to hear a phone call, a freight train running through his head because of certain audible sounds, I always tell people when we're out the situation usually before it transpires into him looking at me for clarification. Therefore, I hope that no matter the impairment, that you push through each and every day and be the best you can be! Don't let those people that stare and whisper bother you! Maybe it's not as bad since everyone stays glued to a screen?!? 😉😂 Your perseverance and the determination is something so many people wish they could have. I salute you! Cheers!

The lyrics are actually... beautiful. I'm that type of person who listens to music without seriously focusing on lyrics. I rely on its melody, beats and the feel it gives, no matter how meaningless or disturbing the lyrics are if it fits to my standards then I'll like it. But this song actually hits me pretty hard. I'm 17 and lost my 23 year old cousin about 2 months ago. I've been having a very hard time. He was my favorite cousin. He was truly the most supportive loving and kind hearted person ever. My family held a celebration of life for him a couple days ago. This song was playing during a slideshow of pictures of my cousin all throughout his life. Everyone was crying. It breaks my heart knowing that itll be such a long time before I see and hug him again. But I'm so blessed to have had such an amazing big cousin in my life. Maybe this reasoning can help. The brain has a probabilistic degree of freedom. An entity beyond the body can express itself through these degrees of freedom. There is another way to look at it. I can say say as a person who's experienced a lot of mostly childhood trauma that therapy helped me, I can also say that therapy truly is for EVERYONE, even if you lived a "perfect" life somehow, no matter what your experiences are, you can ALWAYS benefit from therapy. At the very least it's a good way to vent and tell secrets you're dying to tell even if it's just to a professional who legally cant say anything unless under 3 or 4 certain circumstances. Those circumstances basically cover the therapists obligation to legally report anything where you plan on hurting yourself or someone else, or if someone else is hurting you. Other than that, you're basically all clear. You can say that you lost a child or you could say you wanna run naked through the streets, but the therapist will always have a way to help

30 YEARS AGO, today, I held my first child (who was stillborn) for the first, last, and only time. Every year, on May 31st, the hurt of that loss feels just as it did that day. The only thing that has brought me comfort is knowing that my grandmother was there to greet my son when he went to Heaven, and will take care of him until I'm able to be with him again. I feel bad I'm sharing this since so many people lost family members. I just wanted to say I lost my precious guinea pig. His name was Rolly. He was the sweetest thing. My first pet ever when I turned 16. Exactly a year and week later from getting him, he passed. He was always getting sick. He held out for a long time. Now he's not suffering. I'm blessed that I had him for a beautiful year. I love you my dear pet, more than you could ever know. ♥️
Animals have a soul too. It maybe simpler than ours but it is still spiritual. We are not only atoms. There is a probabilistic degree of freedom in the brain that allows intervention by an external entity.
I lost family members that’s are alive today that I had to let go of that I deeply loved but never again will I do this to myself again.. bc they can’t ever treat me right… this song makes me think about if I’d die they would only care for me.

I also lost my dad on Saturday and trying to get songs to bear with the grief I feel for his funeral has given me strength to carry out his wishes. I love you dad ❤❤

I just lost my 8yrs old only child because of Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Jan 30, 2024 its so painful.and now i dont know how will i live without him.he is my life and my everything.
My dad passed away in May on mother's day 2019... He had terminal trembosis and went to a septic shock doctors did everything they could but a heart attack took place in the end. So yeah im feeling this song way deep down in my heart and my soul and i miss my dad so much . I know there aren't any tears for him up and heaven
David Bustam I'M so sorry for your loss. my mom died on September, 12 2019, she died of cancer. I miss her so much. RIP mom 1959-2019 So I feel your pain man
