Well I can't wait for the episode where he finds out he's not Leia's real father... Since if her 15th birthday in this Episode is summer 1995 and she was born summer 1980 Donna must ghave got pregnant fall 1979. But Eric wasn't around for the whole of that last season, he was in Africa while Topher Grace tried his hand at a movie career. He only got back in time for new years ever 1979 when Donna must have already been 3 months pregnant. He's a dumbass but he must know right?
@@Calzaki Pregnancies are typically ten months tho???? it's entirely possible to get pregnant and give birth in the span of one year my guy also its a tv show
@@wobbustef1693 lol you need a biology lesson. Either that or you need a serious talk with your wife/gf/mom. 10 months lol. They even make a joke in the show in a later episode about how that's not right. That's called foreshadowing. And if a pregnancy did last 10 months that means Donna conceived even Earlier so would have been 4 months pregnant before Eric came back from Africa instead of 3
@@CalzakiYes that's my theory too she wouldn't have been showing and probably didn't know yet although it makes sense she didn't date the other guy so maybe she knew and didn't tell anyone
prophetic? not really, korean war which red fought in, not really a victory for Nato. Vietnam, also not a victory by any stretch. I also wouldnt consider any of the proxy wars and illegal operations of the cia under regan as victories either, except for the weekend the us illegally invaded gernada. I would argue that its almost entirely by design though.
I was in high school when I first watched the original show, and I graduated in 2013. I definitely felt like the kids then, and I definitely feel like the kids-turned-parents now.
@@deadcrowes19I was born in 2004, so during That 70s Show’s sixth season and obviously I wouldn’t been alive in the 70s and I only started watching the show in 2017. I wouldn’t say I feel old, more like it’s surreal seeing them all grown up/getting older.
@@shannonseltzer Zima wasn't really a girly drink. It had 5% alcohol, so more than what we'd call coolers today. They didn't come out with flavors until the late 2000's so not a fruity drink either.
@@The.XD9 why the 😂? Quite literally if you look at that 70 show compared with Spider-Man 3 or even compared with the movie he did date with Todd Hamilton he looks the same as he did but shorter hair... I don't understand why people can't just straight-up say what they want to say and stop laughing like you're still in the third grade.. act like an adult
I like how accurate is when grandfathers and parents sort of keep the fashions and hair styles from when they were young, i have a mexican uncle who still uses a MULLET, yes, a mullet.
One thing that must happen on that 90's show, eric watching episode I and seeing his deception and having a massive fan crisis would be hillarious. Also i don't understand why eric is not talking about the dark horse comics and the thrawn novels, were massive popular in that time
Like with all generations, each one often sticks to popular things from their own adolescence and young adulthood. Although Eric probably would try to read at least one of those comics just to see what his kid is into and make sure it's not voodoo or something.
2:41 "No more Zima for you!" That's so 1990s, and we used to always call it a chick drink. Signing off, 51-yr old. PS--So glad that Red and Kitty came back to replay their roles. Back in those days, we decided as young 20 year olds that Red was the secret weapon of show!
"I visit mom's grave.. and I tell her how much fun is was when the house WAS full." That line made me instantly think of the original That 70's Show and I teared up.
I understand that this is a long awaited spin off, from That ‘70s Show. And I can easily tell that this show itself is a lot of fun, with all the comedy and the craziness that this show has, especially after the original show of That ‘70s Show ended over 10 years ago, from when it ended back in 2006. But even if they are just acting, you also can’t deny that, when Eric and Donna were both talking to their daughter Leia, after she came back from going with her friends to the water tower, it kind of makes you think that they were being hypocrites, since they spent a lot of time on the water tower from That ‘70s Show, and always falling off, going to the ground far below, and well, since she told them that she was with her friends at the water tower, it’s always like, don’t be hypocrites and talk to her, about not doing what you guys did back in the day with your friends, especially if she is trying to do what she can, to spend all of her time with her friends to make memories that will last, and if her parents want what is best for her, then they should know when it’s time to let go, and let her explore, like open up her wings, and at least, let her have her fun, and then come home, once the end of the day rolls around, because she wants to make as many memories as she possibly she can with her friends, because for an example, what is going to happen if her friends are going to move away to go to college or something like that, especially within the next few years or so, after high school graduation? And if I was Eric, I will patiently wait until it’s time to talk to Donna alone, and tell her what I think that Leia is going through, and I would have a serious moment and have a serious talk with Donna, reminding her that is what almost happened to me and her, when she and I were both Leia’s age, or even, when we were both about to go to college. So, that is mainly and mostly why I think that we shouldn’t, try to be so controlling of what Leia will say or do next, and from there, I know that I would do what I can to figure out, when it is time for me to be a serious and controlling father, as well as figure out when it is time to be strict, because I honestly wouldn’t want to put too much pressure on Leia, and be too much of a controlling father. So, that is why I think I should talk to Donna, and figure out what we can do about that, if I was Eric. But that is just me. What about you, for whoever will read, this comment of mine, what would you do about this, if you were the one, who is being too controlling over Leia, wanting to do whatever she and her friends want to do, when they are not home, and they are doing whatever they want to do out of the house, what would you do about that?
Leia tatooine Foreman omg Eric. Does foreplay not realize his daughter is reacting his entire teenage years lol? It's pretty obvious that Gwen and Leia falls in love just like how Eric and Donna fell in love and they were neighbors ... Lol 💞💕
@@jg2722 yeah but in the trailer though Gwen and Leia do act like Donna and Eric the way they were before they started dating referencing the flashback from the episode when Eric wish that he never dated Donna "it's better to love than to never loved at all"
Ikr even when Carrie Fisher was alive she did not want to admit that it was pretty much incest on Star wars.. even Harrison Ford admitted that he kind of threw up in the seventies when he found out that Leia and Luke were actually brother and sister off screen response from Ford
Is this from "The 90's Show" or "The Early 80's Show". I mean Topher Grace looks like this could have taken place in 1983, just after Eric's college graduation from Wisconsin.
Notes about the adult characters: Kitty and Red are great. Eric could have some more dignity. Kelso and Jackie are the worst. Fez was underwhelming. I liked Donna and the absence of Hyde. I know that his actor could not join the project due to legal issues, but I think not mentioning him did good for his character because I can imagine the best for the character. I wish they did the same with Jackie, Fez, and Kelso because making Jackie cheat on Fez with her ex and showing that their relationship is just as unstable as it used to be had assassinated these characters for the sake of some cameos that this show did not need. Notes about the young characters: The fat kid and his girlfriend were not necessary and could be erased for the sake of budget and space.
I’m kinda upset that Eric didn’t keep the vista cruiser atleast. I wonder why red gave Eric’s daughter leia the car but not to Eric. I guess Grandpa Red wanted an easy birthday present to give to his granddaughter.
I can’t believe majority of people are accepting this junk. Every scene made me want to throw up no exaggeration. I literally bought That 70 Show dvd after it was removed from Netflix for this waste of time. I can’t even finish the first episode of That 90s Show because I cringed literally every second. And how* is no one upset about this show being rated TV-14? This show is not appropriate for children. - In my opinion, Eric acts and looks sick, Donna looks tired, Kitty looks plastic, And most of the children force everything. If there is any connection built between the cast, it will be scraped from the remains of That 70s show.
