I love Eric Martin I would die if I pulled up into a parking lot seeing him singing. What an honor it would be. Mr. Big was one of the most underrated bands of all time
Strangely enough, Eric played a small venue that I've played in frequently. It was just him and a couple of other musicians. He hung out after the show for over an hour.
Eric Martin has one of the most beautiful voices in the music world. He made history with MR BIG, along with amazing musicians and continues to sing beautifully for our luck. 💟🎶🎵 MR BIG , crowded the beach in my city in the 90's, there were thousands of people to watch an amazing show, the best songs, to this day they remember this show. 🎼🔝💞
He's so neat. This made me smile on this less than spectacular day. I ran into him walking through Astro world when he was opening for Eddie Money..RIP...I was all giddy..." I love your music...I was just singing "Information"... I'm looking forward to the show tonight." He said, "Well I'm looking to replace a background singer..Sing it for me"...I was soooo insecure back then. I wouldn't sing. I wished I had a stronger voice, but in hindsight I wish I'd sung with him. I so enjoy his voice still.
Eric Martin is truly a treasure! The entire band (all lineups) were all fantastic but Eric especially always just seemed so cool and down to Earth. This video kinda clenches that theory. I want so bad to see Mr. Big next year when they come to my town in 2024 but tickets are between $179 (for back rows) to $338 (for up front). I can't afford it.
I went to MI with Paul Gilbert and followed him when he played with Mr Big. Got to see Eric with them in Fresno during the Lean Into It tour. Have been obsessed with his voice ever since.
One of the best bands I ever saw was the Eric Martin Band in Modesto, CA back in the early 80s... that guy and his band were incredible! Thanks for the amazing experience!
~ Thank YOU for sharing ~ EVERYONE get(s) a thumbs_up ... !! I remember waiting for the band to come out to the tour-bus when they opened for Rush back in 199**cough** .... and Eric scolded us for missing Rush ... but he hung with us longer than any of the other guys. I cherish that.
