I felt bad because his vocals seemed to be in a weird place. I definetly didn't word that right lol but you get the point. He could have done better if the key was changed but luckily his struggle didn't seem to be too noticible.

i'm more impressed he was able to contain most of it to his head voice, singing in that key isn't actually that difficult if you access head voice or falsetto but keeping the majority of it in chest voice is something which would be hard for me to do without straining my voice

Probably because some RV/Wendy stans were rude as hell to him when this came out.(not only in the female key,but he was sick also)...one even fat shamed him.😡 People suck.

Lol if you follow RV closely you'd know this is actually Wendy's solo SM station song last December 2017 and was not meant to be sung in duet. They literally practiced this hours before the performance thus Eric singing in the female key. It's a jazzy arrangement, I highly suggest you listen to the original sm station song

You could tell Eric was uncomfortable and couldn't adjust to the key.

Expect someone in the main position to wreck you whenever they fulfill their roles lol. For example, Seulgi’s your bias but then you watch the main vocalist sing, you’ll get bias wrecked and if Wendy’s your bias and then you watch the main dancer dance, you’ll get bias wrecked. It’s just a matter of where they excel the most🤗 ofc this doesn’t apply to everyone,, but this is usually what happens.
