Eric was nice and courteous in praising Sacred Games. Frankly, it was let down by Netflix standards.

Milan M not only glamourised. It is just clumsy filmmaking. Characters are not well developed. Their responses are inconsistent. The treatment of narrative is heavy handed. Sacred games is not remotely close to the best a India has to offer.

Sacred Games was a bit of disappointment compared to expectations.

I generally don't comment on RU-vid videos but Anupama could have asked Eric about Carlos Munoz. Like how difficult it was to shoot in Mexico in original locations considering the fact that Carlos was shot while finding locations for Narcos Mexico. For the first time I felt that she didn't do proper research before interviewing. Such a wasted opportunity. So much more she could have asked Eric about Narcos and Netflix.

"I don't think that box office, has been, for a long time, a legitimate metric for whether a movie is good or not" - can we please send this quote to Aditya Chopra???? Or, well.... pretty much EVERY film maker?!! Cool. And, NOW, I'm interested in Narcos. Wasn't. But now, after a glimpse into this guys thought process, I am. But time hi kahaan hain?!?!? B- grade, ghattiya Hindi films jo dekhne ki beemaari hain! Man.... I need to start watching better things :/

Start watching tv series like Narcos. They just create 10 episodes of a season just once a year but it's work more than 10 worthless movies. Start watching- Narcos, Breaking Bad, Mr. Robot, Stranger things, House of Cards, Game of thrones etc for more insights on how things work out in Hollywood.

@@Maddy-ht8pg I did see Stranger Things. The 1st series. But I can't consistently follow a show with home viewing as I only get access & time after a few weeks. Took me over a year to see Black Mirror. But being an anthology, that was fine. Plus, that massively appealed. Breaking Bad or Thrones doesn't appeal 1% to me, & I can't watch things just coz they're popular. From what I hear, all the above shows don't appeal to me. I was just admiring Eric's thought process, it spiked my interest in Narcos, though that said, drugs, mafia, dealers don't make for compelling viewing. I guess I just got lucky with a series like Black Mirror. It was relevant, gripping, innovative, layered, & I could pick out any 1 episode without the pressure of following a thread. That's why I like movies - done & dusted in 2hrs. Though the quality of film has deteriorated, both in Hollywood or Bollywood.

The best thing about Narcos Mexico is that not only the producer's, but also the actors' approach to the roles they have in the series is so well rounded and conscious. Diego Luna as an individual is smart, intelligent and politically aware and he brings all the complexities related to a drug lord in his acting beautifully. That man really is something else, and I am forever thankful to Netflix to introduce me to such a talent. Michael Pena takes a shift from his usual comic self into a refreshingly awesome serious role. Couple these two with an ensemble of Mexico's finest actors, and you got a must-watch series which is so much more than mere entertainment. Don't miss Narcos my man. This shit teaches so much.

It's a torture to hear 'sort of' repeatedly. Too much of 'sort of' and 'you know' shows how poorly we speak nowadays.
