Sprints off the stage, gets the fan down safely, yells at security for not paying attention, and then jumps back on just in time for his next verse. Badass
Well he did ask the crowd to lose their god damn minds. Idk, they're too poppy for my taste. I feel like this is the type of fans that killed the core scene. That's just my opinion man.
Eric always had these instics. Good guy. Back before he was in I Prevail, we went to see Devil Wears Parada with some friends. Some guy picked me up in the pit and threw me. Eric pulled me aside and told me to get him if that happened again. He was pissed. Doesn't put up with that shit. It's a good trait to have.
@@kaythepancake2309 A band called A Righteous Downfall. Michigan local. They're not together anymore, but when I met Eric, I don't think he was in a band. We just had mutual friends and went to a show.
He deeply cares for the fans, at the San Antonio date I got kicked in the head and it knocked a few teeth back and I was bleeding but he made sure I was ok before he carried on.
These are just random guys that got the job when the concert came to town. They are actual security guards bro. They are there to protect the band and that's about it. You think they should put their life on the line for 12 bucks an hour? Sure, help a girl if she needs it but come on.
First of, i love how he jumped off the stage to help out, also it’s never to early to take kids to shows, my son sat on stage for an entire show and he was 5, my youngest son went to his first show at 5 also, their now 22 and 16 and go with me to warped tour, as a parent you decide when you feel your child ready , BTW every time I go to shows I still look out for the protection of the small and young at the shows and in the mosh pits too make sure nothing bad happens kinda like a universal father figure lol , safety first and let’s have fun and enjoy the shows
I got to hang out with Eric at the Vanna show in Pontiac and he's a super chill guy. Really cool of him to do something like that without missing a beat. Props to him
Whether or not I like a band (I can't say if I like I Prevail or not. Haven't listened to them yet), if I see them do something like this, they immediately earn my respect.
@@jackieceja4997 Security wasn't paying attention. Otherwise the person would've been dropped. So, he stepped up, grabbed the crowd surfer and said some shit to security
Download Festival in Australia this year, I was against the barrier and some random dude behind me started choking me from behind. Could see the whole time that Eric was watching and about to step in before the dude stopped (had to elbow him). We just so lucky the security was fantastic during their set. One of the best live bands I've seen.
I love this band they are my number one favorite and to see eric jump off the stage to help a fan you wouldn't see that at a attila or asking alexandria concert i love this band and the energy and respect they bring to the fans each time they step on the stage they are going to go along way for sure.
Mysticpoisen actually, if you go to warped tour you realize that everyone in the crowd is basically a big family, everyone in the front would have been watching him and taking care just to make sure he was okay. also its not THAT loud enough to really screw with his hearing, he was probably having the time of his life lol
Kincaid Spicer Even though most of Warped tour is like that, there are definitely still douche bags who will disregard this. In the end, the crowd at this type of show is still going to be wild and unsafe. Especially for someone like that.
I've been around the scene a long time and bring my two toddler aged boys to festivals and shows. The pit isn't the place for them, period. Yes the entire hardcore scene (ideally) stays based around family and looking out for each other, but this is a stupid risk to take when people are going off at a show. Bring the littles but don't be a fucking idiot about it... 🤘🤘
Jesus! Stop surprising me with how much more love I can get for your guys! Lol, I'm so glad I got to meet you guys a few years back. You guys were my first concert that I bought my ticket and I still have my mementos. Wanna see you guys again so bad. Come back to The Machine Shop Lounge man!
This is the same as the calibertv live performance. That video has such amazing quality I had to figure out how much of it was the performance and how much was post production work. Gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. Mixing was about as good as it gets but they absolutely killed it.
it's not securities fault, it's managements for putting the number of staff on. if each guy is already sorting a surfer out then they can't be 2 places at a time. I've done it, Try being one of 2 pit security for bury tomorrow - i had the singer helping at one point because i was pushing them back over.
Sometimes security just isnt well prepared enough. like try being security at a chon concert when literally the whole crowd is trying to crowd surf and theres two or three as many crowd surfers as there are security guards
i knew like one song by them prior to seeing this video, but now i know this one and am interested to listen more. what a good group of guys :) *and GOD does this make me miss concerts
Ironic that the cameraman in front of you is wearing a shirt telling you to put your phone down, and then this phone gives you an angle the official video just doesn't.
NF has done it. This guy is a comedian, not a rapper, but also wanna mention Jeff Dunham. Guy had a seizure and he stopped the show to make sure the guy was ok. Just a cool thing I wanted to add
