I can’t get over how much this man begged to be with her only to treat her so bad.

The most toxic and manipulative men say the same things. “Can we be cool one day?” “Can we be friends?” “Can we start over?”… ALL THE SAME. The thing that kills me is that they know what they’re doing regardless. It’s sad a lot of men want kids but don’t want to be better for a woman first. Makes no sense.

When she said again 6 times, that hit me. We as women give men too many chances. We have to learn to walk away when we see the signs. We can’t fix them, they have to want to be fixed.

When Erica said “You don’t got no feelings” I felt that 😞 it’s so hard to get out of a toxic situation but it feels good to find your strength to move on

Erica needs to do what’s best for her. Yes, Erica wasn’t a great person when it came down to her past relationships. She was selfish and down right cruel at times but for people to enjoy her pain, that’s not right. She tried to be the best wife and mother she could be. This man chased her down, made her open up her heart for him, etc. Just to be treated worse than a stranger on the street. He promised her all of these things but when he realized he couldn’t have his cake and eat it too, he decided to bail out. That’s not fair to her nor their children. I don’t normally make comments on things like this but as many of you have mentioned, what Erica is going through a lot of us can relate to. From what I saw from the beginning of their love story, safari was obsessed with the way Erica looked. He was obsessed with her look and that is what drew him to her and made him obsess over her in this unrealistic way. It went from obsession to what it is now because there was never any real love on his part. However just like many women we allow men to woo us based on superficial things we fall for it we ignore the the red signs in the red flags and we allow ourselves to become emotionally attached to immature grown boys. No matter what Erica did in the past which I got a glimpse of on some of the past reality shows she was on, no one deserves to be treated this way. Erica was younger when she did those things and a lot of us make mistakes as younger people. But now hopefully this has taught her to proceed cautiously now that she’s ready for love as an adult. I have personally experienced dealing with a man that rude me told me he was ready for a serious relationship told me he was ready for a commitment got me to completely drop my guard and then started acting like a complete idiot. It hurts and it’s extremely painful and yes this level of stress can physically age a person. Erica is beautiful but yes she does look like she has aged and maybe it’s because she has lost a lot of weight as well. my prayers go out to her and her children because even though she no longer is married to Safari, she still will have to deal with him and see him and every time she sees him she’ll be reminded of the fact that she dropped her guard and was vulnerable and ready for love and ended up getting trashed on by the father of both of her children. Lessons learned hopefully

Crazy how she was mean in her past relationships and sleeping with married people and when SHE WAS READY to settle she tries to be the best mom and wife and everything all back fired on her. It’s said how karma can be when you’ve level up to finally want to do/have better.

It is truly amazing how you can really go back and look at the timeline. How you can look back and really see what Erica means when she said “He asked for this life”. “He wanted this”. “He sold me a dream that I bought into”. She didn’t go into this for a fling once she was in. She really fell in love with him and eventually his goals of a family, house, a marriage, a forever-she really bought into it.
