Hi Jack. I thank you for your sincere feedback. That's an interesting perspective. I am often a sceptic to a lot of things like these. But death and destruction (or the possibility of the same) can influence the best of us really, and nudge us towards obedience.

Listen to Akira the Don if u alone and ready to be inspired. Connect with people with similar interests. If u have no interests... connect with people with the same concerns as u. Go for walks - preferably in nature. If none of that helps... just respond to my comment.
Definitely. There are anti-covid groups, anti-mask groups, anti-lockdown groups, anti-vaccine groups, groups that believe covid is a hoax, etc. There are a lot of people benefiting from this situation, but most are losing out. So it's difficult to say in my opinion. It depends on your own personal experiences and what you see immediately around you.
Ditch Weed. Yeah it’s crazy! The whole world lost their minds in one strike. But the scientific data is not hard to find which shows that the “pandemic” is not that bad. So I still have faith in the majority of the scientists (but not in those political pseudoscientists).

@@keegster7167 Yeah. 1% death rate. Maybe you n I got it, and didn't even develop symptoms! I myself feel it's right to go to neither extreme when it comes to belief and just be good and civilized. What I find interesting as a teacher and student of psychology is the behaviour of fellow humans. Right from hoarding toilet paper at the start to ostracizing people who are rumored to have been 'infected'. The humankind is united at times, and divided at other times.
With all do respect to erich fromm. His classification of human by 5 types seems shallow and deficient. I have seen much better classification by 16 types of personality
I agree. 5 is too few to address the complexities of human personality. The only saving grace is him accepting that people can demonstrate more than one type.
If I may respectfully disagree. They are not personality types, but rather orientations which we can recognise in every person. Although they can be understood individually they are not mutually exclusive from each other. Most of the orientations will be blended in most personalities in different ways. As well as this, Fromm discussed many other facets of human personality, such as narcissism, biophilia, the authoritarian character, the sadist, the bureaucrat etc.
