Chato querer comentar sobre como cada um deveria lutar, mas é frustrante ver um luta que poderia ser uma aula de posições se resumir a uma guarda passiva de lapela.
@@esokqueiroz3122 Pode ser, mas não constrói legado, se o cara não tem potencial beleza, mas o Erich é um dos melhores de fato, quando ele pega caras que ele fica confiante ele passa o carro, caras que ele respeita ele joga mais travado. Hoje o Jiu-Jitsu tem espaço pra quem performa e pra quem ganha títulos, um cara que luta pra frente tem mais chance de lutar com os grandes do que caras que travam a luta, quem vai pagar PPV pra ver o cara travar o adversário com a lapela e ganhar de 2 a 0?
I disagree with all suggestions of banning any given technique for purposes of "not stalling" or "advancing the match". These fighters are there to fight. We are there to watch, not dictate how they fight. If a technique is slow, but effective in a fight, then let it be. Chasing after flashiness and entertainment is what crippled Judo after grabbing the legs was banned in 2013. An entire category of techniques - gone. No longer taught. At least half of the martial art thrown out the window. Same with Taekwondo. The old school 1980s style (no protective equipment, boxing-style judging, hunting for knockouts) was considered too dangerous, so enter protective gear. Nobody got hurt with protective gear, so enter a manually controlled points system. Manual control deemed biased, so enter electronic sensors. And now look at the BS we see today. Let fighters fight. If you think it's boring, don't watch. And don't worry, there are plenty of us who're watching every "boring" second to keep the viewer base plenty strong.
I mite be wrong but I think there should have been a couple more disadvantages for stalling…great guard but not progressing…holding the same grips nearly the hole match…I think Gracie should have got the win…but congrat to munis he a brilleint fighter but just think the ref wasn’t doing his job as well as he should be…sorry just my opinion 👊🏼👊🏼
@@agharta42 Thanks. He took an interesting grip late in the match, when he gripped the belt. I wonder if that grip would have been even better if he had used his other hand (i.e., the hand on the side caught in the lapel). I have seen Roger use similar grips but I don’t yet fully understand the pros and cons.
Gracie isn't addressing the grip on his lapel, he keeps driving into it like a donkey and it's going to do something. Address the grip and then move forward.
Honestly, IBJJF should ban using of lapel for guard. I know there are many good lapel guard technique but still it kills dynamic actions between both competitors. I think use of lapel for submission should be legal though.

No judo o atleta é desclassificado na hora por isso, não tem nem conversa, pode ser final de mundial se ele fizer isso acabou ali pra ele. não levou nem punição zuado isso
@@rphpereira sim, por isso o judo cada dia fica mais irrelevante... foi um ESQUECIMENTO, não um desrespeito doloso, e não atrapalhou a luta, logo não deve haver punição
O cara não consegue sair de uma guarda de lapela, ou pelo menos matar uma perna, aí complica, passar a guarda também é básico no jiu-jitsu, e pessoal reclamando de quem pontuou e foi campeão

Acho que guarda de lapela deve existir, logo logo vão anular esse jogo, até lá espero que as marcas não patrocinem lutadores que lutam dessa forma ou melhor, lutadores que amarram dessa forma.
Vocês vão me desculpar, mas o luta feia parece dois faixa Branca, um ñ sai da mesma posição e teve diversas chances de mudar a estratégia e finalizar oque estava em cima, o outro ñ vê q só estourando a pegada pra sair da mesmice, estrutura alto nível, atletas, baixo.
O Gracie não conseguiu enxergar a luta TODA q com aquela pegada do Muniz enlaçando o kimono ele não iria arrumar NADA se não tirasse.Falta de VISÃO para um Gracie.
Perfeito irmão, faço essa guarda também com a intenção dupla raspar ou me proteger quando o passador é muito agressivo, o Muniz quiz ficar ali testando essa lapela sem dúvida ele inteligente e versátil quiz ficar ali vendo qual o comportamento do Gracie diante aquela posição ali, mas o Gracie não se ligou nisso ? Por favor né brother meus oponentes sempre tentam achar solução mas o Gracie ali nem se preocupo em tentar achar uma saída... Abraço
