Same bro the thing about sparring is that people aren't worried about winning or losing so they dont play it safe like how it is in an actual fight. Also wearing heavier gloves and headgear gives people a perceived sense of safety so there is more exchanges.
@@Joe-kv6tk jaron ennis is out here stopping cruiser weights in sparring lol no excuses for that much holding they both pros he can’t do that in the ring why do it in sparring
Pure power training! You have to fight! No one can run/hide! That was a serious sparring session, it let me know that it doesn't matter how strong you are. What makes the difference is your determination to win! Great work from both sides indeed
Love is a Super Lightweight. Erickson is a Super Welterweight. Love has all of the physical disadvantages going for him. Won't last long going wide open based on their level of talent. A ton of damage in such a short span of time.
@@gringodelsur7971 that’s the amateurs though bro Lubin has improved so much and he’s been in the ring with a lot of good fighters Ik love is at 140 and Lubin is at 154 but if they were to fight I’d take Lubin any day
montana is a beast i was in the amatuers with him. he fought at 141 and was killing niggas. but Lubin is a straight monster and is two weight classes ahead at junior middle. Montana shouldn't have been in there with him yet too green as a pro took too many punishing shots. he was holding cuz he was tired wasnt in shape but it wouldn't of matter cuz lubin is hungry an want that strip from Charlo
He was holding not because he wasn`t in shape,l he was getting h is with some bombs which Lubin didn`t have to do. Lubin is trying to knock the kid out when its just sparring
Marquise Williams might have been same weight at sparring but lubin is the natural bigger man. That goes what i was saying love is at most 5'5 lubin is 5'10 huge difference
@@seangibson3054able I've sparred many heavyweights boxers, and maybe it's just me but I feel they're more easier to box than smaller boxers. I recently sparred an 8 - 0 heavyweight and managed to get in and out willingly before stopping him with a body shot. Size only matters in grapple fights but as far as boxing and kickboxing it's irrelevant.
Savage n ferocious n aggressive n all out. These r the characteristics of good sparring sessions which is close to the real thing to happen in the sanctioned fight.
College Student Lubin still is a monster but that's boxing just got caught with a good shot and it was night night 😴time he'll be back and they'll meet up again down the road you know he wanna avenge that loss but salute to charlo he handled his business # and still
TheKingpelu exactly charlo not lil and he sparring better opponents too. Thats not Charlo he hitting and getting hit by. Charlo strong and got a crazy jab to get by before the right hand cracks.
I been watching the Montana love Lil punching sessions with his trainer, so I wanted to see what he would do in a fight and this the first fight I came across
Montana should had tried to get his punches off before Lubin and because of Lubin experience, smother Lubin punches, then step out with combinations. Make it pretty much like a street fight
Can’t see this type of sparring being more productive then Casual sparring. Especially since Lubin got knocked into the next dimension by jermell didn’t seem to make a difference in his fighting.
The reason for all the holding was dude was out classed and was trying to hold on for dear life to regain himself. I'm sure that punishment doesn't feel good.
If this is how he treats his sparring partners no wonder why he went to sleep in the first round, He still had no respect for the game at this level, I am pretty sure he has been humbled now.
Nizeit HD It makes sense to people who’ve never boxed in their lives. People who pretend they know what sparring is like or supposed to be but have no knowledge of sparring further than a screen off their phones. Hard sparring is prominent in all of competition boxing and is important in certain ways, so to say lubin has no respect for the game because he was punching his sparring partner hard is levels beyond dumb. Anybody who competes spars hard, even people who don’t spar hard. He walked up to Montana after to show respect. He was the one who walked up.
@@wutang5503 baby boy I train very regularly , maybe we do it different where I’m from but “sparring” is another word for practice. Throwing home run shots on a guy who is smaller than you is bad for both guys . One has a false sense of confidence and the other a bitter taste in their mouth. Especially when your two weight classes about your partner. He was being a dick. This type of sparring doesn’t help you in the long run of your career.
Nizeit HD not at all. you’re telling me nobody in your gym spars hard, not pros or seasoned guys lmao I doubt your gym has any gold or any type of hardware to be found anywhere. In actual gyms nobody with skills and experience is taking it easy on anybody else who has skills and experience regardless of weight or to an extent, age. Lubin is supposed to take it easy on another skilled pro because he has 10-15 pounds on him? Yeah, no. He helped Montana and Montana helped him, it’s a learning experience regardless. Like I said hard sparring is prominent in all of competitive boxing. Look up your favorite fighters and your friends favorite fighters, they all spar hard and for a reason. All time great fighters came up having to get their ass whooped over and over in the gym to be as great as they were. Hard sparring is important and that’s why anybody who competes does it.
