I grew up here, lived here from the late 70's to the early 2000's. Erie is all in how you look at it. I absolutely loved growing up here. It was safe and what I call now "innocent" back in those days. No one got shot at schools, low crime etc. Now I totally agree with people this is not a booming, cool city to live if you want night life, good times, etc. It's more for people who want a quiet life and a slower pace of life. It's simply a place where you can just live your life and not worry about the big crazy world. I doubt I'll ever move back but I do think about Erie and how I lived there from time to time. All in all its a good place.
Erie isn’t great to live at all, your better living out in the suburbs like in Harborcreek, Millcreek, Fairview or North East. If you live in the city it’s not safe at all, people are loud and blast rap music extremely loud, there’s always shootings and drug dealers everywhere in the city no matter where you go, I left the city and moved out to the suburbs, it’s nicer, beautiful and definitely a lot safer, don’t believe me? Go to the neighborhood in the city of Erie and you’ll see for yourself.
By the way,if you want to go to Erie,go in the summer so that you can sit outside at Sara’s,go to water world/waldameer,and go to presque isle and swim at the beach. It’s not very fun in the winter and there is not much to do in the winter
I love watching travel and destination videos. My favorite RU-vidr is Taylor's grand adventures , he does travel videos also. I loved your video. Great job
I liked your video. Thank you. I been to Erie and I been to Waldermeer, Presque aisle, Erie Zoo and Bi centennial tower..Tom ridge center and other places for shopping. I would love to see Flagship Niagara and sport teams.
Hi, we may move with family anytime to Erie soon, so can you suggest a good neighbor hood to rent and suggest good schools around. It would be of great help. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
I want to say thank you very much for this video. I left Erie in the mid-90s and I've traveled much since then. Of all the places I've lived I really enjoy Erie the most winter and summer thank you again
Nice video. I was born and raised in that dreadful city. I graduated high school, went to college out of that state, and never moved back to Erie. Erie had 140,000 residents in 1965, today near 90,000 and still losing people every single year. It's a dump.
