ETH never says anything concrete about what was the tactic, what was the problem, what we tried to do. every interview is "not enough" , "we want more" , "mistakes" ... im starting to believe this who was described as "tactical genius" have actually no tactical understanding at all, bad tactics makes players do more mistakes. it seems that ETH thinks we would win every 1vs1 situation in attack and in defense, that opponent doesnt scout us as it seems ETH never scouts opponent, he have 1 style and thats it, and ye he aint even playing the 1 style he had in ajax, he came to united to learn some new what he calls "best transition team in world" tactic (which he never coached before). well this aint looking good. we still have players also who throws multiple managers under the bus but i see no success with this circus style of play we apparently get better and improve all the time. that being said, theres no good options for manager job atm to replace ETH.

What had this manager done to deserve the job in the first place? A tactical genius who won a few league titles with Ajax, managed Bayern Munich B team (B team) and a few lower standard dutch teams and all of a sudden he’s a tactical genius who lost a champions league semi final with poor in game decisions and the same things are happening however many seasons on! Arne slot literally ripped this guys tactics live on TV and yet we think he’s going to turn it around. Ive watched football long enough to know that we are just delaying the inevitable. Players framing it as they wanted it more is a bit misleading. What they should be saying is we didn’t want it enough. Utd squad is improving in depth and quality, the ability is there now which hasn’t always been the case. Does the physical fragility of the squad limit the intensity they can play with? The fire seems to be there against big teams in the latter stages of cup competitions when a trophy is within reach. That intensity and fight and will to win would be great on a week in week out basis, players need to win their individual battles. ETH often mentions fight and character in his press conferences, it’s something he wants from his players but it is something that does appear to be lacking in the squad, maybe this issue will be addressed somewhat once Ugarte is up to speed we will have to wait and see.

Sorry but this mentality is nothing to do with Ten Hag, it's been ingrained in every player for a DECADE under every manager, is ETH better than Fergie? Our back 4 at present should be Dalot, Martinez, De Ligt, & Mazaraui, until either we get a left back, Yuro returns, and maybe Branthwaite comes in, that should be stuck to. Midfield should consist of Ugarte Mainoo, Collyer, front line Garnacho, Huylund & Diallo, then rotating with Rashford, Zirkzee, Bruno needs a six game rest minimum. Ten Hag needs to stop these stupid substitutions, if a player ie Rashford or Bruno having a bad game, get them off. That's the only way it can work, Ineos needs to tell Erik to stop the favouritism.
