I am a 60 year old father and made the decision to talk to my 26 year old son about what happened to Erin. It was the right decision. We, of course, would never view what is out there because of our respect for her. I know my son and I don’t speak for a lot of males, but we just want you to know there are still good men out there. We are both so sorry for what happened to you. You are obviously a good and decent person and didn’t deserve this. Our thoughts and prayers are with Erin.

I am going to be honest, I only know the Erin Andrews from DWTS because I am not much into sports. I have always envied her strong attitude and of course her beauty. I was so astonished at how accomplished she is in sports and has risen because of who she is and her knowledge too. I am even more amazed at how she wears bravery like a badge. Erin, there is an adage that stays "Courage is not the absent of fear, but acting in spite of it." WTG.

This awful and I believe you. I’m proud of you for coming forward . You have no idea how I feel towards your parents and I really understand the hurt they are going threw . I have been threw this with my child and let’s just say the coward didn’t get punished and the evidence they had our crown attorney never used . I don’t care if your at the top of world with your job you never deserved this to happen and this dirty big deserved more years then this and the punishment isn’t enough . There is ZERO reason for them to not have blurred her body out, that is so stupid. I hope she's forgiven him by now, not for his sake or to let him off the hook so to speak, but because she deserves peace - and he shouldn't get to keep ruining her everyday life. Battlefield of the mind really helped me and a lot of people. It's a very helpful book, regardless of your personal/spiritual beliefs. Praying for her though, even years later, I know that stuff can stick. Ugh, I just wanted to hug her.

If a company was to not hire her because of her victimization then that's a discrimination. And also, if you're saying this would be a compensation for her unemployable status (let's just pretend), how is she ever going to make that much money in her lifetime IF she were to make that kind of money legitimately? Watching Erin cry and breaking down was really hard and unbearable to watch. She’s a tough person and seeing her this vulnerable just broke. This shows that she’s still a woman and not some harden tomboy who refuses to show her emotions and proves how fearless she is.

This comment is separate from her victimization... but something I noticed that is talked about with her is obviously the female in sports world stuff but even more the gorgeous female sports reporter and the “struggle” but all I can think is how many doors or opportunities or just advantages in life she has had that she isn’t even aware of because of those looks of hers. As far as that is concerned I’m just like cry me a river that you were not taken seriously, congratulations, you get to see what it’s like to not be able to depend on the way you look to get what you want right away. PS... I am fully aware that I am projecting and inserting my own experiences into this so no need to let me know I’m bitter, I know.
