It's finally time to set up my new Erin Condren Monthly Planner! This year I am using an Erin Condren monthly planner in the Inspire design by EttaVee as my main planner. In this video I work on my year at a glance spread, redate it for a Monday start, and make an annual home tasks checklist. I also add a bunch of printable sticky notes and Erin Condren accessories.

I think I'm going to have to binge watch all your videos. I really like your planning style and your presentation. Working through your thoughts out loud and making adjustments as you go is very helpful. You gave me a lot of ideas for my underused notes pages. I also like that, while function is paramount, you want it to look nice, too. Thank you for sharing!

I have also seen someone use the 12 boxes as memories for the month. Specific cleaning or house stuff to do that month. Tracking TV or podcast shows. Also I did see someone use a folder....just a normal opening folder you might use for school as a kanban board. Which I thought was super cute. A bit more space and portable. Just sharing ideas...I love new ideas for things!

What about your reading journal? Did you change your mind about using it?

I'm still using it! I just got it so I don't know how much I like it yet and if it's even necessary. So far it's fun to have a dedicated spot to articulate my feelings about a book while I'm reading, especially for book club discussions. I'm not even using the to read and reading log pages in that reading journal, just the guided journaling pages and book club pages.

I made it! I want to try to get a video up soon with a tutorial but essentially I just cut up the 2023 year at a glance page from the back of an old planner and used tape runner to attach them to small post it notes.
