Sometimes crazy things happen. For instance, I started this video a few weeks ago and considered leaving it unfinished. Erin's downward spiral makes me so sad...it's just hard to vid. Then I stumbled upon a fanfic about Erin based on this song and I decided it was some kind of sign. So I finished this. This song truly fits Erin--what with her fake front of badassery and nonchalance covering up how deeply she feels pain. I let this video kind of fall together naturally and the predominant pain of Nadia's death seemed to blend with her additional loss of a relationship with Jay.
I can't wait until Season 3, but I hope they don't spend too long on Erin's spiral. However, I fear that if they hold true to true grief and to the type of person that she is, then it's going to be a long time before the "old" Erin is back.

this is so A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I was waiting for someone to vid Erin to that song (Sophia mentioned Erin's mindset in the beginning of s3 and used that song to illustrate it, so it's totally fitting!) and omg, you did a brilliant job, thank you. Also, I don't wanna spoil you but it seems like Erin will be back in Intelligence sooner than we think and I'm actually kinda bummed right now. This sl is tricky and imo, it should be a slow process for Erin. She can't miraculously feel better within a handful of episodes. We'll see but I need the writers to do her depression/grief/guilt sl justice.

Chairlove02 Thank you so much! Hmm...it's so tricky. On the one hand, I want Erin back with the unit and Jay ASAP...but you're right. They need to handle her pain properly and fully. Shows have a tendency to blow through big emotional events way too quickly (COUGH COUGH...Rookie Blue). I don't think they'll disappoint us though. Can't wait for Season 3!
