the GOAT strikes once again. that finisher with 4 perfect dodges into rock solid into thrust heavy attack was just perfect. i think rock solid is quite underrated, i am thinking of doing my next playthrough with it
I don't know why everybody uses cloud step. Rock solid is one of the best tools in the game for me. It's basically an easy perfect block that staggers opponents and uses so little mana
@@hitoyoshizofa rock solid becomes amazing once you get the right build for it. on it's own it is kinda mid. also cloud step is just so much more convenient. you can comfortably get away from your enemy, catch a breather, drink your gourd/medicine, summon your clones or use your fan or whatever. and then also finish with a surprise attack that usually staggers
@@hitoyoshizofacloud step is more beginners friendly because they still have to figure out the controls. And its versatility makes it an easy choice. In new cycles rock solid is more interesting, because of the game knowledge you can stay close to the boss and hammer them down.
Cloud step into a 10s circle run with pilgrim set into immobilize into loong balm sip into headbutt for 17k damage Never gets old to me. But agreed, it's kind of a noob trap.
The palentin fan and the rock transform will help :D also don't use immobility spell (or at least don't attack him when you use it on him because he will use it back on you)
Dude no! I found a way with extra mana, the rock guy transformation (it works and deplets the shield thing) and gaining the fan back... there are some good tutorials! Don't quit, it's so worth it what happenes when you beat this mf!
@@franciscoabad7621 i might come back and give it another go. But I've spent 8 hrs, trying different methods and tutorials. Including different transformations and using the fan. And different combinations. Made sure I used spells when I'm given a 2 second window. I've done everything.
People really think these bosses are hard, but once you find that all you gotta do is just stay close and break their combos with parries you can absolutely destroy them.
The Best Setup against Erlang is the one in the first Fight thats prob why you have the Spells the Game allways gives you Hints and Tips if you watch on wich Ability is the best against each Boss or wich Curious etc..
MY GOD! i beated Erlang 2 times with dodging and jumping and shroud, didnt even know i could do this. No, i cant do type of this perfect level! your rock solid is an other level sir!
Thank you! He usually tries to counter the rock solid with one of 3 combos right after you counter him but once you've learned those 3 combos they are not hard to dodge
when ur lvl is so high defense, hp, mana, stamina dmg all are so high its so much easier to beat erlang. im in my NG++++ and still cant compared to the very first time i beat erlang.
you need to select the trait in the relic and max out the last talent in the rock solid tree. But it only gives you mana back when you successfully counter with it
@@Ayobreh713 yea idk why it doesn’t sound as good as when I hear it in game. I’ve already set the bit rate pretty high. I’ll take. Look later. Thanks for watching tho!
@@visic1 yeah it took me 4 days to beat Erlang on the first run. NG++ I can beat him only needing to heal twice. Most of my skill came from watching yall play so thanks should go to you.
@@someonerandom3609 Yea it's the player skill that grows the most in these games. My videos are inspired by many others as well, including Ongbal's. Glad I can help and inspire others :)
I think level 300 or something since it's NG4. Maxxed out everything in the talent tree. although you definitely don't need to be that high level to have this build viable.
