This park is local to my area and I'm so stoked to see them opening new coasters. Can't wait to ride them! I love the theming at this park. It's just so cute.

I was just rewatching the busch gardens Williamsberg vlog and as soon as you say "Welcome to Germany, its like I'm back on the European road trip!" I get this notification. Perfect timing!

Thank you for such an amazing vlog! I'm definitely enjoying these whilst I'm stuck inside. In terms of the new vekoma suspended thrill coaster, I think that sometimes a slightly tame thrill coaster is needed as a step up ride from a family coaster, especially if you're scared of inversions/ intense forces. However, if the coaster was marketed as a thrill coaster, then I would be upset about the lack of forces on it. As someone who cannot ride intense coasters, this really appeals to me because it has a large drop and inversions (and I don't get to experience many of those), but for thrill seekers and those who are more able to ride intense coasters I can really see why the lack of forces would detract from the experience. Thank you again for being my favourite yt channel!

I love the way you make your vids, every time before I go to a theme park I'm unfamiliar with, or I just want to know about it and what it has to offer, I always watch your vlogs on them (and just watch you for fun too). No one ever explains and gives an honest and positive look on a park that makes you want to go there like you do! Keep up the vlogs, also im really enjoying your European road trip vlogs, very nice!

Great vlog guys. Nice to see some new Vekoma styles that are smooth finally the end of THAT era! When Charlotte goes “now one thing I miss when I’m abroad, is a juicy jacket potato...” I literally shouted YES I’M TOTALLY WITH YOU ON THAT CHARLOTTE! The Vekoma STC is pretty forceless, the SLC on the other hand has more than enough force Sadly most of it goes into breaking your bones...

Been to Tripsdrill a few days ago. I always thought it's a children's park until I heard about the recent opening of the 2 new coasters. When checking their website I thought: Wow, that's a must see park. And I really enjoyed it. They put a lot of love into the theming and the details. Everything about a German tradition, myth or saying. Really well done. My favorite is "Karacho" (kinda german word for "high speed") directly followed by "Hals über Kopf" (Head over Heels). Biggest surprise was the Millipede, I enjoyed it more than the new Volldampf (full steam) which I found boring. Too family oriented for me. The spinning wine barrels made us dizzy and we had to take a break to recover. As you said: Mammut was well themed, especially the start of the ride with the saw mill you ride into, but the coaster itself is too rough and shaky. Like most wooden coasters. If you found the bath tub flume theme disturbing: It is about the myth of a fountain of youth, hence the bathing theme and the old lady figure at the station. Great vlog. thanks for taking me back to Tripsdrill :)

I think I remember something official from Vekoma regarding the STC saying that it’s not too forceful and is great for someone’s first time experiencing an inversion. Also, if they want to sell a lot of them like they did with the SLC, they could do with making a more compact layout that can be put on flat ground.

Nice vlog, always love to see how other people explore our german theme parks. The theming of the boomerang coaster "Volldampf" is from a famous song in this region of germany. But sad news for Charlotte, in the song the goat loses its head.

I feel like this one is definately more of a prototype as you mentioned and im sure theyll improve the layouts in the future, It would be interesting to see some compact layouts for this as well, maybe similar to the standard SLC model. Iv never laughed so much watching Charlotte trying to ride the bumpy bike.

That drop tower is amazing. I saw it and thought lets just get on without noticing the party trick. I was busy chatting away and then slam, I really thought I was going to die in that split second. Scarier then any other drop tower I have been on when you have no idea. I love this park and it really is theme park with culture.

I translate: "Meine Diagnose hohl im Kopf (hollow in your head), dass bist du!" it means "My diagnosis for you is that you are stupid." Unfortunately you could hardly understand the rest. But i think it wasn t nice, too. Next time Charlotte can throw a Bratwurst (sausage) at him!!! :D

Brilliant park.

Hals über Kopf is one of the best rides I’ve been on, why. You’re able to calm down. It’s so soft and smooth, I thought about sleeping in it. First an last row are perfect. Karacho is cool, but not as great as Novgorod. Tripsdrill is my home park, with a yearly ticket you able to ride the two coasters for hundred of times in a row.

Hals über Kopf is one of the rides where you are first disappointed but after a few rides you like it more than any other inverter

Fun Fact: The wooden coaster "Mammut" was built by Cordes Holzbau, the german company who've done all the woodworks for Intamins' pre-fab woodies like Colossos, El Toro and Balder. While Cordes did all the woodworks for Mammut, Gerstlauer delivered the trains, all technical stuff like the lift, brakes, and the control system. It's the first wooden coaster completely built by German companies.

What a beautiful park definitely on my list of European park's to visit after this... 😷

In my opinion Tripsdrill is one of the loveliest themed parks in europe. Love this park! Good for me to only live 2 hours away from this park.

i wanna go to tripsdrill so bad, it looks so quirky but so cool at the same time!

While you have been gone to Tripsdrill, I done with my friends two smaller theme parks: -Churpfalz Park: The South German Churpfalzpark markets itself as a combination of amusement park and flower gardens, which was a perfect description. In addition to a standard Butterfly, there is also an SBF Visa Spinning Coaster and Zierer Tivoli Small, which incidentally drove a serious number of laps during our visit. Even though the attraction part of the park is outdated in some places, there are still a number of nice attractions, with the Rafting waterway in the large fort in the middle of the park as an unexpected highlight. And during a visit to Churpfalzpark, a walk through the beautiful flower garden could not be missed. -Rodel und Freizeitparadies Sankt Englmar: As the name suggests, you can of course enjoy tobogganing here. In addition to a toboggan run, Rodel und Freizeitparadies St. Englmar not only has a nice Alpine Coaster on offer, but there is also the unique Zierer roller coaster known as "Da Voglwuide Sepp". With beautifully themed trains, nice curves and G-forces in combination with the beautiful setting, it is definitely worth it. Aside from coasters and a Toboggan Run, you can also enjoy the petting zoo, the bouncy castle, the golf course or a dozen other attractions. Adrenaline junkies will find their way at the Tubingbahn or the indoor Skydive, of course, on the roller coasters of course. You can fill your grumbling stomach in the large family restaurant.

We definitely need to join forces on a trip some day - I’m here at Energylandia after wrapping up my Spain, Germany and Poland park trip! 😁

Hals-Uber-Kopf is definately a front row ride. I rode it several times today and found it to be awesome and pretty forceful. You need to come back to this park and check out the theming, it came out beautiful. The spike for Voldampf goes through the station for HuK.

Tommorow is the opening of Piraten in Batavia! I´m so exited

I really hope america gets some of these some time soon or some parks convert their family ones into a thrill one

I got rained of today at Alton Towers but I went on TH13TEEN on the front row so I am pleased luckily we only have a half a hour travel so we are coming back

You need to take Charlotte to hayrack church Farm, near Cheshire oaks/chester zoo. Loads of goats to feed among other animals at this small family owned petting farm !

cant belive im 2 weeks behind on these vlogs :P New coaster (Neck over Head) looked pretty good, though im not a fan of suspended coaster. Preferere tracks in the normal place. But you do get some really close "near misses" and close to the ground with them.

Couldn't hear all of it, but one bit of Love Message was..... "I tell you this, Empty in your head thou are you. Love has clouded it."

Hals über Kopf - neck over head. (I think the proper English saying is "head over heels") Jungbrunnen - Fountain of Youth Karacho - Kaboom (I would guess. It is definitely an old fashioned word just meaning that.) I can't tell you what the love guy said. He mumbled a lot of random stuff instead of getting to the point. xD

Tripsdrill is my home park, and i think it's better than Europapark. My Ranking for German Parks: 1. Phantasialand 2. Tripsdrill 3. Europapark 4. Hansa-Park 5. Movie Park Germany 6. Schwabenpark (small park but very good for familys with younger childrens)

I’ve been loving these European vlogs but I’m looking forward to you doing some more UK parks soon. Do you have any plans to do Drayton Manor, Flamingoland etc when you’re back? 🤪

I think (because of their prototypes in the past) Vekoma went in quite "safe" with the stc. I can see they put out more intense versions of these in the future when the model is fully developed.

The water ride is themed around the fountain of youth actually. That's why they have the old lady figures at the beginning and the young ones in the fountain itself.

Now you know a little bit what it's like for costume characters such as Pluto and Spongebob. Wearing masks.

Charlotte would of liked my job several years ago with hand raising and looking after goats on a farm. The many I had to give a hand while birthing season. Now my oldest is a goat fan. Lovely place.
