By no means am I an expert but those hangers look rather flimsy for all the weight and wind pressure plus temperature variations they are going to be subjected to. Nevertheless a good video.
That was an innovation project called Invherta. A specific concrete mix was poured filling up the arches. The mix was slightly expansive to create tension between the steel and concrete allowing the two materials working together. @@faber_3285 that doesn't sound very scientific - saying the water just becomes the concrete.... I'm pretty sure that when concrete cures it is because the water is leaving the form.
@@ssss-df5qz he is right, water stays inside. this is also the reason for a phenomon called 'Concrete Blow-Up', when concrete is heated above 100 degrees celcius the water insde vaporises into gas. With no room to escape the concrete explodes
