I'm reading a lot of hate on here about Erra's newer music. You're all nuts. Erra has literally NEVER written a bad song. Their entire catalog from start to finish is amazing.
Jim Minichiello I know, I hear a lot of shit talking in their newer material. Augment hands down is the craziest masterpiece ever. I literally don't understand how someone could bash on just pure gold
A lot of people seem to think that a band is making music purely for them. If people want to be so critical of music they should just learn to play an instrument and write their own music exactly how they like it. I'm a musician and everything I have heard from these guys is great. Some parts I like better than others but I respect their musicianship all across the board. And as much as I hate rap music, "haters gonna hate" is a quote that applies to many facets of life lol.
Love this album. Impulse was the first I ever heard then this then towers or whatever the ep is called. Love impulse. Heard augment and find it to be one of the best but this one is just magical to me. Haven't warmed up completely to drifts considering I've listened to it the least by far. Anyway screw punctuation and whatnot I'm drinking but just wanted to throw out there how awesome erra is effing a man
Update: Yeah Drift and Neon are amazing. I don't have a lot of favorite things but Erra is the only band I can say I love all the way through. Hundreds of times listening to Dementia never stops giving me chills and an occasional tear. Andromeda and Impulse albums take me to a whole other place and time. Another galaxy maybe ;) I wish I had this on Spotify though :/ I can't believe how long ago even Augment was already. Where does the time even go
@@headoftaxreformandpercenta4908 i agree. ERRA is one of those bands that never makes anything bad. I genuinely enjoy every single album they have put out. Drift turned away some people but I absolutely fell in love with that album. I felt like it was the most relatable
I discovered these guys right when they released this album, I love every piece of Erra I can get. If I had to pick a least favorite it'd probably be Moments of Clarity mostly because I didn't like the screamer they had for that one.
Am I sure I'm ready for this? Luckily there aren't lyrics on this. After a full listen I'll grab them and listen once more. Then like 200 times more. I look all crazy deep in my music. Yet this is the only place I'm comfortable being.
Yeah lol I was gonna say what are you a crazy person that shit was fuckin sick. So many time signature AND tempo changes like all at the same time. Mindfuck. And I mean that in the best way possible. My mind needs to get laid like that more often.
hopesfall mis sigs btbam, but none of there fans realize and think this is the best progressive or melodic metalcore album ever meanwhile this sound had already been fully discovered lol
It's honestly all great music I'm not even kidding, everything they do is generally of a certain quality, probably already top 5 fav bands all time for me and I've only known of them around 3 years now. The new album is a straight banger
Alan Rigdon (guitarist and primary songwriter), Jesse Cash (clean vocalist + guitarist) Garrison Lee (distorted vocalist), Adam Hicks (bassist?), Alex Ballew (drummer)
@@koffe- compare the guitar work of any music by ERRA after moments of clarity (Jesse’s work), to The Artificials (Alan’s new band). The Artificials sound much more like old ERRA. This is why I think Alan was very important to ERRA’s original sound
@@rhettehlis4155 Alan was indeed very important and I love The Artificials, but knowing that Jesse wrote some of the classics on Impulse and Augment makes it seem like ERRA just wanted to move on from that sound, sadly.
@@mathprodigy That's like saying raisons are equally delicious to red grapes or wine. They have the same origin, and some people prefer the taste of raisons, but they are absolutely not the same thing.
You're a clown with a clown opinion. The mix is the only bad thing about those albums. You don't deserve to listen to any Erra, or anything Jesse Cash produces you ungreatful little shit.
@@clarkh3314 Interesting how the act of reading a comment compels you to try and dictate somebodies listening habits based entirely off an assumption you formed about a stranger on the internet. I'm actually embarrassed for you.
@@clarkh3314 Everyone is an allowed to have an opinion on everything. I like Drift, and Neon is ok. However, they are definitely more generic than Erra’s earlier releases when Alan was still on the team.
+Gordo Smith do you think its shit because theres no breakdowns..? lmfao they have matured so much. theyve gotten so much more talented. especially with losing all the members over the years. if they stayed with this sound.. they wouldn't be a band right now, they couldnt continue like this,
+Gordo Smith musician change over time, mature and grow. Moment of clarity EP was- The Tits, and the new single was ok-catchy. However they have said this album is gon' be heavy and have some solos so look to the future.
+Nicolas Lemay He has a great voice and tone but Alex is a great Drummer and Jesse is an excellent guitarist. They can do this if they want, they just choose to eat bags of dicks.
