Eruption & You Really Got Me performed live by young teen band in support of 2008 Special Olympics event in Long Beach, California. These kids are all 13 and 14.
It`s amazing how good this kid is stepping in the shoes of One The Greatest Guitar Players ever !!! If Eddie were here now he would be proud of what he has done with his own style of playing that no one has been able to copy until the last few years . He will and is missed tremendously !! We all love ya Eddie , Good luck to this bunch of kids !! Keep on Rocking !!!
So it's 2020, what happened to the young dude on lead guitar??? I hope he's still playing.... I'd love to hear him now, if he was that good then he must be sensational now !!!!!
If you've never played in front of a crowd, never mind at such a young age, you have no idea how hard it is. Half the issue is just getting past the nerves. Easy to play in your bedroom, but get in atage it's a whole new world. Commendable job, kiddies
Oh My Goodness!! HOLY CRAP!!! That was incredible! Everyone did an amazing job. To the guitarist, incredible job on Eruption! Amazing. You guys are five stars in my book!
I love the knuckleheads on here so critical of the performers-the techniques of the guitarist, the vocals of the singer, etc. Why don’t you post videos of your performances at 13 yo in front of a crowd. I love watching them. Favorite part is when the guitarist finishes his intro and says, “Yall ready for this?” Here’s to all the young musicians who pick up an instrument or a mic, practice away and then have the nerve to perform in front of a crowd. Wish I’d done that 50 years ago!
Swamp Jammer lol knuckleheads! I think most people are being positively critical. These kids are amazing 👍. It would be interesting to see what they are up to now! Love it
I agree. I'd love to hear what he can do now! The Drummer was awesome too. It takes a lot of courage to get up on stage I'm sure. More power to them all. The two other guitarist jammed well also. 👍. The lead singer I saw had negative comments... Well give the young lady a chance. A voice coach would help her if that's what she really wants to do. You go for it girl 👏 At least you had the guts to go up on stage, a lot of people wouldn't it they'd choke. I hope they are given encouragement too! Ask any famous bands what they felt like and how it was for them when they very first went on a stage and most or a lot of them STILL say they get butterflies. With practice comes knowledge, wisdom and perfection. You did great guys 👍✌👏..👌guys?
Ive heard this song played so well, by so many different people that it has become essentially diluted. I will now return to the 1978 Van Halen original, where it all began
HOLY SH*T!!!! This kid playing Eddie Van Halen is incredible, does anyone know how hard that is to do?!? Eddie was/is one of the best EVER, he invented the way he plays, and this kid was ripping out his solos.
I miss Eddie 💔 I barely manage to play the tapping part, which is considered the easiest part of the song. It requires an amazing amount of endurance and he manages very well!
Eruption was not the first of that kinda of intro. One of Eddie's influences was Ritchie Blackmore. Ritchie did that first with the intro into Speed King off the In Rock Album which was recorded in 69 then released on the European Album. It was not on the original In Rock print for America. When they had to print more the intro was put on the second American Release. Eddie is a great guitarist but Blackmore was the Master. Good cover young people. I really enjoyed that performance.
11 years ago.these kids are in their mid to late 20's now.I wonder ifvtge are still playing? Is like to see a follow up.a where are they now update video
Yeah these teens can rock ! Arrangement to my ear was about as good as it gets... My sister has perfect pitch she says the lead guitarist drummer & bass were way over their level of talent for their age & she played keyboards with Santana 😊
