This is so pure and genuine, I never realized the struggles of fathers. When he said “In the beginning we are useless” “Dad’s are just catching up trying to help and support” I realized that its true, there is undeniably natural connection between a mom and a child, that no one could break apart. Women have these innate “motherly instinct” but we don’t have a term such as “fatherly instinct”. So fathers do everything to show their love to their child and to earn that love from their child.
The best and warmest story I ever heard about fathering and how Erwan finally saw the side track of the father instinct role as compared to the norm of a mother instinct rule.
What amazes me more.... is the time you spent to nourish Dahlia with the proper food for her age.... and see her eat on her own with much curiosity. Cheers to you as a modern day dad... to see the world in the eyes of your innocent child.... nothing could ever compensate that ..... memories to linger on forever!

I don’t know about you guys but I got so emotional just watching Erwan sharing his experience as a dad to Dahlia. My son has a 2 yr old daughter who is so attached to her dad. Gigising sa umaga, tulog pa mga bata papasok, pag-uwi tulog na sila, sad but truth. The pandemic taught us something, somehow... I think this is the biggest decision we've made is to stay in province for a while up until malaki na Ang mga bata, you get to have a quality time with them.
