I like both versions tbh. The manga version because it shows Erwin more emotional and passionate which make Levi’s decision to follow him believable, and the anime because of the words, his words about not second guessing your choices and moving forward tied in with what Levi told eren about making a choice he would regret least

to this day i still wonder why they left this conversation out of the adaption from no regrets anime... "its the titans" is so goddam more powerful

Omg, i can´t believe they changed such an amazing scene! Like why!? Why would you change something that was already perfect!? They made Erwin seem so heartless in the anime and Levi´s choice to follow him didn´t make that much sense either. I´m really disappointed we couldn´t see this animated instead. Anyways, thank you for making this! I love your music choice and editing! It makes me almost feel like i´m watching the anime not manga. :D

I liked a lot of the changes they made from Anime to Manga, but while I didn't hate the No Regrets OVA, it's got nothing on this. Ditto for the Uprising Arc (S3P1), it's just so much, for lack of a better term, richer in the Manga.

The enire convo needed to be in the anime, but when Erwin snaps Levi out of his despair in the anime, that was also wholsome. So lets just say both of these things happened but only parts of it was onscreen and we got to see...:/

Is no one gonna mention the editing here? You did a really good job! Gave me chills, especially your ost choice. Underrated. Now onto why I think they changed it in the ova, I think it might be because they’re out in the open, Titans, especially abnormals could come strike anytime soon and they were in a field of dead bodies. Yeah his speech is way more powerful in the manga, but I guess I can see why they changed it. I just disagree with how cold they made Erwin seem towards Levi and made it seem like Levi’s total trust and loyalty to him forming was more of an off-camera thing than it already is Edit: also I’m a lil confused if he used his left hand or right hand or both in that order to stop/grab onto Levi’s blade. But I rlly liked that he used his right hand in the ova

私も漫画のストーリーの方が納得感があって好きなんですが、「後悔するな」という言葉をエルヴィンからリヴァイ、リヴァイからエレンへと繋いでいくアニメのストーリーも捨てがたい。アニメの方は、自分の夢のために全てを犠牲にする覚悟でいたエルヴィンが最後にリヴァイに選択を委ねるエピソードとうまくリンクさせてる。アニメを見ると、父親を死なせてしまった日からエルヴィンはずっと「後悔するな」と自分に言い続けてたんだろうか…と気の毒に思ってしまう。
