Nah. That kind of audience is always dead, and unfortunately, they're usually the only one's who can afford the concert tickets. The artists know this and it is a bit depressing and boring to sing their heart out on stage for hours for a crowd that has no true understanding or passion for their art.

Also, (because I DO agree that they might not understand her craft) when you don't understand something, you pay said money to experience it and learn- who pays for college and then talks over the professor? The same thing is happening here: A sea of white faces, arrested with curiosity and silenced into submission to experience a black Queen who they are trying to fathom how she evokes the magic that she does. I've been around show business almost all my life. "That kind of audience" is one of the most passionate kind. Watch FKA Twigs live performance- she has the same effect and her fans are die hard to the core.

I ve seen her twice . And too be honest i think its a mixture of awestruck. She makes different renditions of songs with other songs. Songs you never heard of, then you realize its " apple tree". She kinda messes with h her fans...lol. on her back in the day album the musiclist is all out of order. Then in her cd.she writes and jokes in the credits, that she changed her mind..😆 Its truly brilliant. She will do a todd Rundgren and flip it. But still make it her own! Shes truly the breast milk of hip hop experimental, and also takes the the time to celebrate other artist. Love her!
