Hey Farm Tech....so you should be able to re-flash the firmware on it.. Esab should give you the latest for it. However are you saying the built-in drawings do not work or nc code from something like Fastcam? If the later firmware is not it.
@@farmtechcanada8292 what name brand portable cnc do you have. I looking at the esab crossbow myself, seems like they don't have much real competition in this market. The cheaper China ones I'm scared of.
Hi, I own a crossbow, and like FARM TECH CANADA, I reloaded the factory settings. since then, it no longer works. I called Esab France but they don't know enough about crossbow to help me. For them, the Crossbow is hardly part of their product (to listen to them). Can someone tell me where to get the firmware? Can you tell me what values you have un "SETUP" - "SYSTEM" : NUMERATOR and DENOMINATOR Because since then I have a scaling trouble Thanks (sorry for my poor english)
Hi, i also had alot of problems, only ESAB sweden could help me. they had to send me 2 new units before they fond out what the problem was. its seems like some units have an inbuilt problem..... also changed the plasma unit and the torch in this prosess, but it was the main unit that had all the problems....
i also have crossbow and it took me 1,5 years to get it running. looking back, i would have bought another brand with a gantry system, not the flimsy arm... dont buy it.
I agree, we bought it where we worked. I did co-author a book (Lulu.com) on how to use open-source free software to make designs the Crossbow can use, that is the real key to getting mileage out of it, but agreed as of 2022 much better systems available. Thanks for the note Martin. Best, Burton
