I just discovered Esbjörn Svensson trio. What a gem. There are so many key points in their progressions and the tension is delivered with feel that contains all their practice, to do something heartfelt and honest. The piano in "seven days of falling" has the air of rain drops disturbing the pond, supported and backed up by Dan Berglund and Magnus Öström. There are so many delicate key points on this live recording but i really like the melody in its full extension. What makes the trio so good is that they give room for each other and they all have great skills. Perfect!
This song is similar to the one who gave it to me. On the one hand, I wonder what song I would have been listening to today if Svensson is alive. give thanks to both men.
