Esther Ofarim was truly wonderful , but I don't think this song was as good as Dansevise which won. Dansevise is both stylish and direct . It is so well performed by Grethe and Jorgen. No doubt that Esther had every ability to win this contest with a different song. That she still did well in the voting reflects her talent.
Nonsense, the Singer of the Austrian contribution 1963 has also been Israeli. The Artist is not important for the esc. It is a competition of composers ;)
