I like that you pointed out that while the message of this song (be yourself, have fun, don't let others opinions stop you) isn't the most deap and complicated, neither is the messages of most songs. "I love my partner", "one sided live hurts", "war is bad" aren't that complex or deep either. 3 minute pop songs generally aren't deep. Laughter isn't any less valuable emotion than crying.
Henri Piispanen was not meant to be singing live at all, as he just helped out with the demo, but they couldn't find another singer. I don't think he wanted his name on it, but could be wrong.

He wants to be free and who he is despite what the others try him to be! He is looking for his jeans shorts and finally they descent from the heaven (mythodology) and our guy becomes Windows95man and starts the party with cheerful fireworks!💥 DJ Windows95man have been dj:ing now 11 years already and he is also a visual artist. Henri Piispanen is professional singer and voice actor. They met while doing this project and liked each other’s and decided to participate in ESC.
