He is one of those rare Characters that gives me goosebumps everytime he appear. I really love how this character was made, he's goofy and strong asf. Reminds me when Maito Guy open his 8 gate and beat the hell out of Madara, but for Escanor its every screentime.
What I love to think about is how does escanors power make him as strong as meliodas and the rest when his base is so weak? I just chalk it up to him being able to use Sunshine that much better than Mael, but that's just me.

Not gana lie, so many anime shows have ‘overpowered’ characters, and most of them are either done poorly or just bleh. But escanor at least for me was done perfectly
In my opinion Escanor is the coolest character in the entire series. Edit: When you think about it he is technically the weakest of the seven sins because he is a human ( bam is immortal ) and yet the strongest. It's weird but I like it a lot.
He has the most interesting character. Imagine having two personalities who are so different that they can't stand each other while wanting the same woman ...
The phase "Who decided that" Really motivates a lot. Because at the end of the day it's you who decides how things are goung to turn out for you. Yes others might talk you out of it or at least try to but YOU decide for yourself. Not the ones around you.
Well I' dont know if you have read manga so spoilers but chaos host aka Arthur , DK Meli , DK zeldris , both supreme deity and demon king are clearly above him. Even post purgatory ban with sacred treasure was more powerfull against DK zeldris than Escanor in the 1 form.
When you cant even lift the one handed axe with your two hands, that was the first sign that you shouldn't mess with the guy. When the guy saying in front of Galand the truth that hes at the pinnacle of all races and he didnt turn into stone , bro you should run as far as u can.
The commandment of truth is a bit weird. As long as you believe what you’re saying it won’t turn you into stone. Like when Diane forgot she ever met Galland and said “I don’t know you” but didn’t turn to stone.

You can actually see that...his fight with meliodas, he is basically invincible for a whole minute when the sun is on it's peak...he actually kicks meliodas's butt like a ball

Escanor was always one of those characters I loved to see whether he was whimping out as tiny form or being nonchalant about everything else as titan form as I called him. He made me think of characters like Rimiru from Reincarnated as slime or Saitama from OP man

So rare for the best character of a manga/anime series to be the the protagonist. Meliodas couldn't hold a candle for Escanor. Such a shame to see the lion facing the end he did, but it was very good to see he facing it with his pride intact
